A rather staid Hotel right in the center of Sapporo, rolling distance via underground passage from the main station. We stayed twice, receiving the same room both times despite one being "standard" and the other "premium". Actually a rather dated but not uncomfortable snug room with a tiny but immaculate and well laid out bathroom. A big plus was the book-ahead price and the FABULOUS breakfast buffet, loaded with Hokkaido specialties.

The hotel is in a convenient location with easy walking to many sites, shoppings, and restaurants. We have three people in the room and the arrangement made for us is very well laid out with three large twin beds and a sitting area. The room is clean with all the amenities provided.

The hotel room is very nice and clean. We just wish we had a round table with 2 chairs around it in addition to a chair for the desk. The size of the room did not allow this because the big bed is too big/wide. It seemed it is wider than a king size bed. The desk does not need to be that long to allow more length for the section to put luggage on. Amenities and facilities are good. Location is good providing underground walk path to subway, train and shopping areas. Included breakfasts were good.

1st night on 19/10 was good with bigger room .. 2nd night on 26/10 was smaller room not as comfortable. But able to change from smoking to non smoking room although we were told unable to change on 19/10.

It’s very convenient as just only about 10 mins walk from JR . Room is big and cozy.

Grand Sapporo Hotel is in good location and easily access to Sapporo subway station or Sapporo JR station. All staffs have very good service mind and friendly. The breakfast is very wonderful. We will stay here again.

The stay was good, staff were courteous and friendly. Breakfast was good - both the Japanese Set and Buffet. The bed is comfortable and room amenities were good.

Great location near downtown Sapporo and the station. Friendly staff, great breakfast option you could choose between 2 different buffets and a traditional Japanese. Clean and eco-friendly, you could choose not to have your room clean if didn’t need to.

I stayed 2 nights and service was great meeting the 4 star grade. The check-in process also convenient since there was a Korean manager. The hotel is facility was old but clean enough to stay even though i saw dust from back of TV.

Two restaurants for breakfast. I loved the Japanese one. Very cosy room, good bedding, attentive cleaning etc. Beautiful historic property.

This hotel makes me want to come back to Hokkaido again. It is super nice the moment you stepped into their lobby - or even before. We arrived at 12:30pm with our luggage and the service staff received our luggage at the porch, gave us the luggage tags and off we go. No hassles.
Nice rooms, great location and no troubles on hot sunny days or rainy days. They are fully sheltered from both Sapporo and odori station.

I can understand Sapporo weather are cool or cold most of time, so air con vent consider heater more than cooler, summer time always get water arround vent. Hokkaido milk are most famous, i really worry my milk or yoghurt may getting worst due to not cool enough refrigerator, rest of them are good hotel.

This is a wonderful hotel - great location, helpful/friendly staff - made our first visit to Hokkaido so memorable. Every day - we walked 4 short blocks to the train station for our activities and when it rained on our last day - we could walk in the underground to the station. Can’t say enough good things- we’d stay here again!

Run of the house rooms are a little tired but great value. Comfortable bed. Breakfast was busy but team did a great job so only short queues. Less than 10 minutes walk to Sapporo train station so great location. Staff were very professional and polite. We will stay here again.

Really solid option for a stay in Sapporo - it's a well executed hotel experience where you get what you'd expect done well and with friendly and efficient staff. Definitely has a US business hotel vibe to it (not a criticism). Staff were only too happy to help with a restaurant reservation and were great helping us recover an item we left behind when we checked out.

The building is a bit old. Carpet does
not gove me the feel of being very clean (maybe because it is very old. The room I stay in June claims to have 40 sq meter but it has such a long corridor because it is a corner room. The size of the room feels like 33-35 sq meter to me. I will try a different hotel in Nov when I visit Sapporo again.

Loved the location! It was in the middle of Sapporo and walkable to many attractions in the city. Would definitely stay here again! There’s also a bus that stops at the hotel and takes you right to the airport. That was a game changer for us since we ended up filling three massive suitcases.

The rooms and bathroom are a bit small and dated. But for the price it is an excellent value, and a wonderful location. And the breakfast in the first floor restaurant is very good with plenty of choices on the buffet, both western and Japanese.

Once again Sapporo Grand Hotel has exceeded our expectations. From the moment we checked in till we left for the airport, the level of service and hospitality is unmatched. Breakfast buffet (Western and Japanese) was superb with a lot of attention by the staff.

Every employee was incredibly nice, polite and helpful. The decor was classic and beautiful and it was located close to important landmarks.
