Only disappointment was all usb ports in the room were damaged and the plug by the bed didn’t work so charging all our phones next to the bed was not possible. Not a terrible thing but just not convenient. Everything was great from check in to check out. Room even had a ceiling fan. First hotel I have been in that had a ceiling fan…that was a nice bonus to help circulate air!

The room was spacious and had a kitchenette, which was an added bonus. The property looked clean and new with the exception of our white window shades that had dark brown water stains as if there had been a previous leak and they hadn't replaced the shades yet. It didn’t impact our stay, but it is a maintenance item to be addressed.

From the front desk staff to the breakfast cafe worker, the staff was cordial and helpful. Room was clean and roomy with sitting area and refrigerator which we appreciated. The free breakfast offered many options and was good. We know we get our money's worth at Holiday Inn.

The 1st room we got smelled terrible, so we requested a new room...the new room was a little bit better, so we spent the night....got up and notice mold in the restroom ceiling and moldy curtain over the air condition.

Excellent place to stay. Staff are friendly and helpful. Very clean and comfortable. Love the ceiling fan in my room. I stay here every time I go on a cruise about every 6 months.

The hotel was absolutely disgusting. Starting with the overflowing trash outside. The room was gross, their were blonde long hairs all over my bathroom. The floors looked as though they had never been mopped. The coffee pot had definitely never been cleaned. The microwave and refrigerator were old, rusted, and dirty. I refused to even try to eat breakfast or even have a cup of coffee out of fear of food poisoning because of the lack of cleanliness. If i ever travel back to Lufkin, i will definitely chose a different hotel. $150 for one night in this "hotel" was a definite rip off! I have photos, but the app is not letting me upload them.

This was the worst hotel stay I have had in a long time. There was hair in the sink and shower and the floor was dirty.

Our stay was great the staff was friendly and helpful the room was clean and the ac worked very well which was appreciated with Texas tripple digit weather the bed was very comfortable it was quiet so we got a goodnight's rest the only con with our stay is the cleaning crew was very loud and even though checkout is at noon they were knocking on the doors at 9 yelling housekeeping

This is a great hotel overall. The staff is friendly, and it is modern and clean. My only problem is the door to the rooms are not sealed by any means, and you can hear every single sound in the hallway. I literally heard a person open a soda can down the hall from my bed.

I had no trouble locating the property. Checking in was a breeze. Our room was on the 2nd floor facing the parking lot. The only complaint that I had was that the door had an obvious space when you closed it. That should really be fixed. I almost requested another room because of it. We were on our way to a college tour the next day so since it was only one night I let it pass.
The room was extremely cold and we had to completely turn off the wall thermostat to let the room warm up (tried to readjust but the thermostat kept going back to 68 degrees. This took several hours! Overall the stay was ok.

Breakfasts were very good! They had good variety, staff was excellent in restocking supplies and item were fresh and appealing.
I think we should have requested a handicap room. Toilet was very low and hard to stand up from.

The staff was very friendly and professional upon check in and check out. They were very attentive as we needed bedding for the pull out sofa and within minutes they brought our linens. The property was very clean as when you stay in an older hotel you never know what your going to get but I was very impressed.
