We had a wonderful stay at the Rib Mountain Inn! The executive room was so convenient and the extra space was very appreciated. Loved the comfortable feel of the place. And, added bonus, there was a trail thru the woods to Granite Peak where we rode the ski lift up to see fall colors! Definitely recommend!

Spacious, immaculately clean, quiet hotel room in a great location for exploring Wausau and Rib Mountain in particular. Only drawback was very weak and slow WiFi signal that was only available off and on. Overall, I would stay here again.

Very clean, great guest services, delicious breakfast, only complaint is I wish they had sausage or bacon for breakfast and eggs, but I understand those are harder to maintain for breakfast as all options provided were self serve items that didn’t need to be prepared day of by someone. Very comfortable beds! Would 100% stay here again!

Rib Mountain Inn is a quaint, clean, quiet place to stay and was everything we needed for a pleasant night passing through Wausau. Good value and location.

I loved staying here. The only complaint I have is with the spotty internet service (cut out at times) and the tv. It had huge selection of streaming services but I don’t subscribe to them so I was limited to what was offered but it would not prevent me from staying here again, a real gem as far as I am concerned.

This was an amazing place for our family to find last minute on a road trip. Our room was clean and cozy. The breakfast was great and we loved the extra touch of a cappuccino machine. We all agreed we would have loved to have stayed longer to explore the beauty of the area.

My family really liked this property. We were in town on a mini vaca, and this was perfect for the area to explore, shop, family activities, and just a relaxing getaway. The room was comfortable and roomy for out fam of 5.
The only con was really poor wifi to do down time when back to our room in the eveing, and no pool. But there were 3 pool options withing 15 minutes away so that wasnt bad.

Will definitely return. This quaint and quietly located facility is away from the busy and noisy city. Situated next to a golf course with woods and all the pleasant sounds of the gentle wind blowing and birds singing to a new morning.

the reception person was very kind and helpful upon arriving and departing the next day. It was a nice room and very accommodating. The only thing I would say is that the room maybe should have been aired out or the air conditioner turned on prior to our arrival because the room had a stale smell when we entered due to it being closed up for a while. this is nothing that would prevent me from a return visit just a suggestion.

Loved the suite and full kitchen. However the condition of the bathroom door was a problem and the faucet in the kitchen sprayed when turned on to full cold. The WiFi was very weak and hard to connect to while in the room. The TV directions didn’t make sense and the employee turned it on for us totally different way.

Exactly what we were looking for. A place to stay not next to a freeway and surrounded by concrete. Easy access to everything in the area but tucked away in the woods. Would recommend!

We liked the location of the property for the purpose of our stay. The property seemed well kept and clean, but very dated. It was very cozy, but there was something missing. I think it was the lack of warmth by the staff and the confusing, unwelcoming entry. The staff was efficient at check-in and check-out, but not overly helpful, forthcoming with any information and not real friendly or welcoming. Kind of cold for such a cozy place.

We were staying here for a wedding. Absolutely loved the room we were staying in. Nice large balcony with serene view of wooden area. Room was very clean, comfortable and exceeded my expectations. The front desk associate was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast had great choices and variety. I’m already planning for a weekend get away!

This place is meant for the elderly or lone travlers, but not for family due to the lack of facilities available. Beds were perfect. Dim light knobs are the best and you choose your lighting which every hoyel should have like this one. All in all if give it a 3.7 or 3.9

We had a great experience at the Rib Mountain Inn! The property was cute and felt very homey yet very clean. We stayed in the off season but I would imagine it would be a great place to stay during ski season as it felt like a cute Hallmark ski lodge. It was incredibly affordable to stay for the full weekend. Would recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay in the area!

The staff was amazing! Everyone was so nice and inviting and so helpful. Our kitchen garbage wasn't taken out before we got there so there was some smelly fruit in it. And our dish washer broke but everyone was quick to fix anything that we needed if we needed anything at all. Felt like family.

Outdoor hot tub was just what our exhausted bodies needed after a day of skiing at Granite Peak. This property is the perfect location for a ski trip to Wausau, WI. Barbara and the rest of the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay here again!
