There wasn't natural light in room, but for my business trip not needed. You can hear subway but it wasn't problem during night. Very good and comfortable bed. I can recommend this hotel for good price and location. Ideal for business trip. Receptionists are very nice and have very good English. It is possible to get taxi in front of the hotel. (Taxi to the airport was almost twice more expensive (48Euro) than taxi from airport to hotel (28 Euro))

Great location in the middle of the most important sightseeings and shopping streets, very easy to walk all directions from the hotel. The room was very clean and quiet. Special thanks to the receptionist for helping us as my handbag was stolen in the city. We stayed for 4 nights and would recommend this hotel to our friends too.

Room could have been cleaner. Not sure if the sheets were changed. The ac would turn off if you tried to lower it too much so we were always a bit too warm.

Great location. Took Aerobus from airpirt; 5.60euro pp to the universitat, 20 min ride, then 3 min walk to hotel. Metro is also at same stop so very convenient. Staff were friendly but a bit of language barrier. We had room 110, basic but spotless and spacious enough. Sheets were super white and towels good quality. Nice bathroom with rainfall shower. We just needed extra towels and was accommodated. Took had a safe, always a plus . No fridge. Very small window in room but was ok as we were just there to sleep. Lots if shops restaurants and cafe near by. Loved being so close to gothic quarter. Receptions kept our luggage secure on check out for evening flight. Great price would definitely return for a short stay.

We loved it here.We had originally booked an AirBnB but unfortunately, when we arrived it was not as described and we had to leave. Thankfully we managed to book in here and the staff were hugely helpful (asking us if we needed them to ring other hotels to cover the first night that they couldnt). They also helped us fix my boyfriends glasses when they broke with some glue they had on hand.The place was clean, well presented and perfectly situated close to food, transport and sightseeing. Overall, a great place with great staff in a great location. Id definitely stay here again. Its also close to where the bus drops you from the airport! Super handy!

This hostal was super clean and the workers were really nice and kind. However there were no elevator so I had to move my BIG lugguge. Excpet this part, this hostal is good. 청결하고, 영어로 의사소통도 잘 되고, 친절합니다. 다만 엘리베이터가 없어서 계단을 올라가야해요! 그래도 호스텔 말고 저렴한 호텔 정도의 숙소를 원하신다면 추천합니다 :)

Comfort and friendly staff

Signage to find the Hostal is easily missed. The rooms were exceptionally clean...until the last night (of 3) when we killed a solitary cockroach. We explored as far as we could walk (as far as the Sagreda Familia in one direction and Montjuc Magic Fountain in the other, and all points in between) but would have needed a few more days to explore further afield by transit. The price forced us to leave Barcelona for more affordable and less crowded destinations in Spain.

The hostel is in a good location. Convenient to the Metro and a short walk to Las Ramblas. Nice cafe right at the base of the hostel. While the room is pure function and little else, that is why it is affordable. The beds were fine, the room was clean, the shower had great water pressure and the wifi worked. If you're in Barcelona, you don't stay in your room for long. This room was perfect for my daughter and I.

Lovely room and very clean and looks newly refurbished, not what you think of when you see the name hostal. Private room with private bathroom, our balcony view wasn't the best as it was at the back of the building, but I feel it added to the stay and gave the feel of being a resident. Lovely building it is housed in, up a couple flights of stairs which I wasn't expecting. There are some gorgeous reclaimed details featured in the room. The hostel is not signposted, so make sure you look through the photos to see the entrance. Great rather central location for sightseeing. Best way to get here from the airport is the aerobus or taxi.

Great place and value...it does not have a big fancy entrance or foyer but it adds to the charm of Barcelona and it feels like you are a local who lives in a character apartment building in the centere of the city...and the rooms are very nice...so good! definitely will come back

This hotel has a nice vibe. Friendly reception lady with a good memory, as I asked about something and she remembered hours later again.

This "hotel" is disgusting, looks nothing like the photographs, and can't possibly be a three star hotel. I've stayed in backpacker hostels that were more chic. Besides the odor, the dirt, and the entrance that looked like a garage, our check-in experience was terrifying. The man at the desk refused to show us our room until we gave him our passports (but was happy to stare at my chest). When he finally showed us the room, he made lewd insinuations about how we'd want a big bed. I wanted to outside for a moment to think about whether this place would work out, and he refused to let us leave. He attempted to bar the exit with his body, and threatened to cancel our reservation if we left the lobby -- even for five minutes. I honestly felt afraid that I was about to be kidnapped. Hotels.com should remove this "hotel" from their listings.

While the staff was helpful and the wifi good you also have to contend with cockroaches, cat hair on the bedding with no known cat on the premises, crumbling ceilings, and very noticeable mattress springs. The door is also not easy to find. If you are wandering the street and you see and unmarked door between a 24hr mercat and a cafe that would be the entrance. Overall, the place is manageable if you can't find anywhere else but in a great city like Barcelona I'm sure you could do better.
