There was mold and mildew in the shower and along baseboards in the bathroom.

It was ok but doubt I stay at one of these again. No hot water in my room the 2 days I was there. I also had my dog and the only place to bring the dog out pretty nice but the door to get out to it would always lock and no room key would unlock it to let you back in. It was a major hassle with the dog had to go around and right through the middle of everybody to get back to my room every time. Staff was very friendly. One would think the money they charge they could upgrade some stuff to make guests more comfortable. Will be going back to the American inn in Paducah for the rest of 6 months in town.

Check in took 30 min. Dog couldn't be brought thru the extremely small lobby per the rules. Had to use a scary side door. Very smelly room. Lg sized frig shook very loudly. Thermostat on wall didn't work. Dingy atmosphere at 180.00 a night

I encountered a serious cleanliness issue in my room. To my horror, I discovered black mold on the bathroom faucet. This is a major health concern and indicates a lack of proper maintenance and sanitation. It is unacceptable for any hotel to have such a blatant oversight in their hygiene standards.
In conclusion, my stay at Candlewood was marred by these significant issues. The lack of a hot breakfast and the presence of black mold greatly affected my overall experience. I hope the management takes immediate action to address these problems to ensure future guests do not encounter the same disappointing situation.

Horrible stay..... had to switch 2 off the 3 rooms in my party because they smelled. They latter person in my party of 3 said his room smelled bad too, so he just dealt with it. There was smoke on the 3rd floor. The showers were dirty. No hot water in one of the rooms. To top it all off, I was approached about halfway filling up my small cooler with ice. I was told that the hotel didn't allow coolers to be filled up with ice... after I asked where the ice machine was. Then i was questioned whether I was a weekly guest or a nightly guest because i could've used the ice machine in the freezer. Never gonna stay there again!!!

Although the front desk people were kind - The rooms were disgustingly dirty. The first room was filthy - the pillows were smelly , the microwave had finger smudges, there was hair all over the air unit , the desk /table had crumbs.
They moved me to 409
The wondow base is covered in black soot and the handle was dirty
The fridge handle was slimy
The bathtub had black smears on the side
The bathroom door had a red /brown food or drink splattered all on it
The sink had build up in it under the tile that you could see
The hairdryer felt dirty
The bathroom floor was slimy
I was able to slide around on the floor
I considered just leaving but since I booked through Expedia. I wasn’t going to get a refund .
The hallway had a smell to it .

Pet friendly for dogs! Suites have medium size fridge, full size microwave, cooking stove top, and coffee pot. No coffee but can buy it on site and laundry detergent. Clean hot showers with very nice staff members.

It was an ok stay. However for the price per night, we at least could have had fresh towels brought in without having to take our dirty ones to the front desk. And we had to empty our own trash. Beds were comfortable enough and the room was fairly clean, aside from the old water bottle in the fridge and dishes in the dishwasher. And it had a stale smell when you left the room for a few hours. The AC would cut off while you were out and it got kinda funky. But it cleared out in a couple of minutes after running the ac. The elevator was an interesting ride, too. It jerks when it starts and stops like there’s play in the cables or something.

I was disappointed in the bathroom accommodation of roll-in shower that I had reserved and did NOT receive. It was difficult for my mom to get in and out of the bathtub although the number of bathtub safety grab bars were appreciated. Water was tepid and never got hot and handheld shower head had no pressure
Positive side room was very clean, beds and pillows very comfortable and surrounding rooms were quiet. Our grandson enjoyed his workout in the gym.

My worker and I had to change rooms. Her bathroom had stool on the toilet seat and my room had dust on most of the furniture. They moved us to rooms that were better cleaned.

The clerk that check us in was amazing, very friendly and helpful.
The property needs some deep cleaning. I can usually take a bath in a tub, this one I could not. There where marks in the carpet in the hall where the cleaning staff had drug trash bags that where leaking.

Was 6 hours late due to traffic. Called reservations, they contacted the hotel for me. Staff was waiting for me at 11:00pm, after 17 hours of driving. Excellent customer service!!!

The front desk person was completely overwhelmed. It was clear the hotel didn't staff appropriately. There was a line of people to check in. She was working as fast as she could, but the process/equipment was so slow she could not get people checked in quickly.

Our room was noisy with very thin walls and floors. The room above us became occupied after midnight, and their walking around and getting unpacked was terribly loud, waking us up for nearly an hour. We had an early morning and were hoping for restful sleep.

We were traveling back from vacation and just need a decent hotel to crash for the night.
Thought spending 140 bucks for the night we’d get a nice clean hotel, not the case. Lady at front seat was pleasant. Get up to the room and it was filthy, floors had dog food and hair all over them. Bathroom counter had blood or makeup smeared all over it and beds smelled like they had not been cleaned. Will never stay there again. I would think spending well over 100 bucks the hotel would be clean. I have stayed at $60 night hotels that have been cleaner.

I ordered a disabled room for aging parents to have a roll in shower (paid extra for the room) and it was NOT available even though the booking said I booked it. The night staff said there was NOTHING they could do. One parent said he wasn’t going to take a bath but he would try to help his bipolar heavy set wife (who had recent knee surgery) the best he could. AND I had to pay $50 extra for each room when I checked in for ?? Maybe it’s a deposit and I’ll get it back - who knows!!
