Property beautiful. Parents had handicapped accessible room because of mobility issues but the room was several corridors away from lobby/breakfast area which seemed odd. Had to drive them from building they were in to the lobby area. Very inconvenient. Seems like huge oversight. Breakfast choices were disappointing considering what a nice hotel.

Great stay! We stayed here to go to a concert at the Illinois State Fair. Very convenient to everything! Large room, comfortable bed, and clean!

The area was genuinely nice, the staff was extremely kind and friendly. The room was to our liking and the breakfast was excellent. We were happy with the entire stay.

My room door did not always lock and took many attempts for it to secure

We had an issue during check in. The system was down for quite a while, and they told us to come back later. I had reservations so I’m not sure why we couldn’t be placed in a room at 3:00 check in. Eventually it worked itself out, but we had to go find something to do for about 45 mins. Room security lock was not functional (room 319) our bathroom had hair on the wall from the last guest. The rooms could use some updating. Overall a good experience.

Room was nice. Glad to have a full refrigerator, microwave, & dishwasher. Staff was friendly. Check in & out both were fast. Already booked again for Thanksgiving.

had a great time except for prople walking late at night above us can hear alot of people walking above us and the basketball kept bouncing and shooting till 10:30 we went to bed at 8:30 but had trouble getting to sleep!!

The room was very nice. The bed was very poorly made and the fitted sheet underneath appeared to be dirty. Even after we changed rooms for the same reason.
The location is excellent and we enjoyed the hotel. The girls in the kitchen for the morning breakfast were great!

Evening guy Eric was amazing. We had a problem with our room that Eric went over & above to fix. We heard him on the phone with another difficult situation with an irate call & he was kind, courteous & calm for the entire time. We had a problem with the handicap lift at the pool, & he helped with that, too. It is so rare today to encounter such superb customer service & professionalism.

We’ve stayed at this property for many years. The owners need to do a deep thorough cleaning of the rooms. Ours was fine but not as clean as it should have been and not as clean as it was in years past.

Well my daughter went to get toothpaste because I forgot it and apparently you allow pets and the people left them and they somehow opened the door and pooped in the hall and as my daughter was walking by she smelled it and looked up and the dog came after her. She was running and she seen a little girl alone in the hall and then the mom in a doorway. She scooped her up and handed her to the mom and ran out the door to outside. That family helped corral the dogs and then walked her OUTSIDE to the office. The family was kicked out I guess but the baby got bit on the hand and my daughter scooped her and she got her heel nipped. She is not hurt but it was scary for her. The front desk escorted her a different elevator to go up away from the dogs.

Ask for a room nowhere near the pool! We were above it and good grief, the kids were loud!! At least it was quiet after 10pm. Otherwise it was a comfortable stay and wevwill stay again.

Very nice, clean rooms and proactively pet-friendly hotel. Provided a flyer with nearby pet stores, services, etc. Lots of greenspace for our dogs on and nearby the property. Great breakfast! Room/furnishings showing some signs of age.

We had a great stay in Forsyth, IL and our only regret was not being able to stay more than one night. It’s not the least expensive choice but we’re beginning to re-think our options and are finding we enjoy the “extras”.

This is my 2nd stay here and i was very pleased with the staff and the cleanliness. I would and have recommended to my friends.
