Staff was rude and the room was dirty and musty smelling. Would not recommend this place to anyone.front desk clerks was sitting in the counter w8th her feet up on the counter not very professional

Cons - Bathroom was dirty, had hairs on the counter, dirty shoeprints on the floor, and the tub was dirty. Bed headboard had stuff all over it and room was humid and had a smell.
Pros - Bed was comfortable, staff was nice, and breakfast was good, parking lot was extremely well-lit so felt safe arriving at night.

Website said pet friendly. booked online. got there and found out they do not allow pets. Now going to Country Inn and Suites and will have to fight with expedia to get refund I am sure. Frustrating!!

Nice hotel at a good price. They could get rid of the plastic cutlery and other disposable items in the breakfast area and use reusable plates etc. Other than that a nice hotel.

This Fairfield Inn is not up to their normal standards. The room doesn't have any USB ports, and the TV is small and not a smart TV. The AC unit sounds like a 747 every time it comes on in the middle of the night. They did not come and clean our room. There are much better choices for the same amount of money in Cookeville.

We enjoyed our stay. The staff was great, & the hotel was clean. Our king room was nice, but was incredibly small. We were surprised at how "tight" the space was for a king room. Hardly extra room for 2 people to walk around getting ready. And besides the mirror above the bathroom vanity, there is no other mirror in the room. It would be great to have a full-length one somewhere.

We stayed as part of a large group for a wedding and loved our stay. The breakfast was filling. The room was clean, but the closet had an odd smell. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Overall good stay!

The staff was especially helpful and friendly. Our room was ready ahead of time and everything looked nice and clean. It was very quiet and relaxing. Breakfast included protein - eggs and sausage. I did think the room was small and thankfully we didn't have lots of big suitcases.

The rooms were not equipped with propee linens for bed. The bed was extremely uncomfortable. I could feel the springs in the mattress. Did not get a good night sleep. Just a horrible experience. Very disappointing because Mariott chains are not usually like this.

Arrived at 3:30 to check in and was told there was an issue with not having enough cleaners so there was not a room available yet. We returned at 10pm to check in and were told they overbooked and there was not a room available. There were several people that this happened to on the same night, and to our friends the previous night. Clearly they are unable to manage a hotel.

I was shown a picture of a suite with 2 queen beds and a pull out sofa and the listing indicated it slept 5, which is how many we had. So I booked it. Once we arrived and were placed in a 2 queen room, I questioned the booking.....and upon inspection my email only listed a 2 queen room, not a suite that would sleep 5 people. The staff at Fairfield said this has happened before w Expedia....you see a picture of one room and it's NOT what they are actually giving you. The staff tried to make a swap for us at Fairfield and next door, but had nothing available that was any bigger. It made for a super uncomfortable night trying to sleep 5 people in 2 beds. Likely won't use Expedia to book again and will just go through the hotel site. Unexceptable practice.
