Comfort double was large enough for two people to spend several nights. Location is great, staff is very attentive and helpful. Parking wasn't an issue as there are few free lots within 5 minute walk.

This was a sweet little hotel! The staff were very helpful and friendly! We definitely recommend this hotel.

Convenient location to shops and restaurants

This is a fairly basic hotel in a great location close to the centre of town. We stayed for one night. The woman at reception when we arrived, Sharon, was simply brilliant - friendly, welcoming and helpful. The hotel has a car park (you need to book it in advance) a short distance away - 10 Euros - which was very convenient as parking in the town is all on meters. In addition we were allowed to leave the car there until 12 noon which meant we could head off and visit the chateau without worrying about the car. There were however a couple of negatives. Our room was really quite small - just about OK for one night but not much more. Also the toilet was a bit malodorous. The latter two items made me consider giving the hotel a less good rating but Sharon's very positive contribution persuaded me not to.

This hotel is in a really old building. It is quite funky and untraditional. But it was fun. The people who run the hotel were great. And it was right in the historic downtown.

Very convenient location

Very nice and clean hotel in downtown Amboise, close to the river. They have a closed garage to safely park your bike.

This hotel has been newly renovated and was very clean with a location close to the the center of the town. However the room was so tiny as was the shower that it was uncomfortable. Two could hardly get around the bed. There was no elevator and the room was two flights up plus additional steps into the room. Traveling for one month we had luggage that was both heavy and took up space. Fortunately, the staff was very considerate and helped with the baggage.

We stayed for 2 nights and had a lovely time. Our hosts were very welcoming and the place was amazing. Clean, spacious, and all the amenities that we needed for our brief stay. It was cool the night we arrived and our host had a lovely fire started in the wood burning stove for us. Would really recommend this place. It is surrounded by farms, a very quiet place just what we needed after long days of seeing the sites.

Great location in centre of town but on a quiet street. Very clean, staff very helpful and friendly. We had a sofa bed for two children in our room so understandably a bit cramped but we had all we needed. Bed not the most comfortable and shower was a bit of a squeeze!

Room was a good size, the staff were very helpful, location was great and everything was very clean. I hate to mention a negative about this lovely place but the showers are very small and the bed wasnt terribly comfortable. The air con was a welcome relief after a hot day's cycling. There was a large space for bike storage too. I would definitely recommend this place.
