Excellent hotel. Staff were extremely friendly and informative about local attractions alway going that extra bit to make our stay enjoyable. The hotel is in a fabulous location just 10 minute’s walk from the train station. Would advise getting a room overlooking the courtyard as the square can be a bit noisy.

We booked a night at the hotel very last minute as our flight was cacncelled. We received a really warm and helpful welcome when we arrived at the hotel and were checked in quickly. The room was clean and comfortable with decent air con. The WC was tiny and the bathroom would have benefitted from having a shower curtain, but it was all clean and fine. Decent breakfast in the morning and it was nice to be able to eat it in the courtyard. Very central location for exploring the old town.

Everything was good.1 point our room had no shower door/curtain so very difficult for 6ft person to shower without flooding the floor

Where to start. The staff was just fantastic. The location was amazing. Right on the main boulevard, yet not noisy as it's mostly pedestrian traffic and it was walking distance to anything we wanted to do. 5 minutes to the train/bus depot. We really loved this place

Absolutely loved our stay! Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. It was a quick check in and check out process. The staff also called and arranged for a taxi to the airport - which was amazing seeing as we have a very limited French vocabulary. The hotel is very central and close to all the local bars and restaurants. Its also a very short walk to the spectacular Cathedral.

Very comfortable overnight stop allowing us to have a days look around the town.

Location was good and staff were friendly and helpful. The property is dated and could use some sprucing up. The mattress had a crater on one side. No shampoo or conditioner. It seems that guests are expected to bring their own or use the body wash.

The hotel couldn’t really be any better situated, close to everything including not far from the station. While the room was a good size and the bed was comfortable it was unusual to have the toilet in a closet. Yes, the toilet took up half the closet space with a sliding door arrangement that meant either the toilet was open or the closet. While using the toilet there was not enough room to shut the door so probably not ideal where a couple was using the room. The bathroom was also quite spacious but the shower stall was quite tight with barely room to turn around in it. One minor irritating point was that there was no glass in the bathroom. Wanting a drink of water I had to scoop it from the tap using my hand. Air conditioning was efficient and overall the room was comfortable apart from the couple of quirks.

I booked the hotel through Hetels.com. When I arrived, the Hotel Imperator was closed, due to vacation, leaving me stranded to look for another hotel. I am still waiting for either the hotel or hotels.com to contact me with a refund and an apology.

The best: the hotel staff, all really kind and helpulf. The worst: The room was basic, old and no confortable.

Check in and out smooth. Room comfortable but toilet so small your knees touch the wall. Bed comfortable and room which was at the back was quiet. Staff friendly and helpful. Buffet breakfast good and there was a nice courtyard to sit in.

Traditional old style hotel but very clean and personnel extremely friendly - spoke English well. Good breakfast with lovely fresh bread, croissants and fruits. Good value.

Almost in the main centre of the city but easy to find. As with many older French hotels in towns the parking is a bit tight but very secure and worth the extra cost. Staff were helpful. Lots of places to eat nearby and a great live duo singing outside one on the night we were there. Good clean comfortable room. Would visit again.

Our room faced the street but the good quality glazing kept most of the noise out. The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was fine. We were not keen on the decor in the room but that is a personal choice - there was a cheap carpet which must be hard to keep clean. But the bathroom was spacious, the shower was excellent and the bed was very comfortable. This is a great location from which to visit Beziers and enjoy some good French food and wine. There is an outdoor terrace for breakfast but no other outdoor space. There was air conditioning in the room, which was very welcome.

When someone arrives at Beziers airport after an early morning flight its disappointing not been able to access the hotel or room to drop off your luggage until 4pm. Not good Im afraid
