I was driving on a long trip with my dog and needed an overnight stay at a pet friendly hotel. The hotel room was comfortable for my quick stay, easy in and out with the dog, and the free breakfast was all I needed before getting back on the road.

I was travelling alone with 3 children.
We knew we were going to arrive very late at the hotel (past midnight) therefore we called the hotel to let them know and they confirmed our reservation and told us that it was fine as long as we arrived before 3AM.
We arrived at 1:30am and greeted very rudely by the night staff named Keith. He told us that the hotel had been overbooked so he didn't have a room for us.
Even after showing the confirmation number and letting him know (and showing him) that we had called to confirm, he still refused to give us a room (said he had 2 left) and was very rude. He didn't even help to find us another hotel nearby.
I was basically left stranded alone with 3 kids with no hotel room at 1:30am...all of the surrounding hotels were already fully booked so ended up sleeping in our car which was quite a frightening experience as a woman alone with kids!

Stood at the desk for 20 minutes while they tried to figure out why my payment wasn't showing. They finally gave me a room and came to the room 15 minutes after settling in and told me to come back to the desk they got my payment and needed me to sign paperwork. Room was outdated and smelled of old stale cigarette smoke but otherwise appeared clean. The only reason I didn't complain was due to just wanting to sleep after driving all day and having to continue driving in the morning.

I did not like the $100 charge on my credit card to cover “potential” costs for damage /cleanup of my room.
Had I known that this would be done, I would NOT have selected this location.
I was told that if there were no such costs incurred, I would see a credit back on my CC.

The check in process was easy and the attendant was very friendly and professional. The room was really comfortable and the hotel was nice overall. The room wasn't the cleanest as there was hair several places in the bathroom and there were clipped toenails in the bathroom floor. Also the rooms next door on either side had people coming and going from the room constantly and the doors left open. It was odd...

Stopped to sleep on our way to Mrytle Beach. What a great value! Very nice staff, and the hotel seemed a little old. However, the room was clean and spacious, and the bed was very comfortable. It was a great find for a very reasonable price.

The first room we were in smelled like mold but the front desk clerk put us in a better room at no extra charge. She was polite and understanding. The hotel itself is a no frills but a functional place to stay. We needed a place to stay after a long drive from Myrtle beach and the price was decent for what we got. Overall pretty decent value which included breakfast

Everything was fine only complaint the pool was not in good condition water was green. That was one of my main reasons to stay at this hotel for the pool but I couldn’t even use it.

We booked for same day stay and it was easy and affordable. The staff was nice and informative. The room was clean, bathroom clean and the room temperature was perfect. It was quiet. The morning of breakfast was good. Checkout was easy.
