The place is conveniently located, the staff was friendly.
There are peddlers pushing drugs outside and hanging out in the alley.
There was water leaking out of the pipes on the ceiling outside the rooms.
Loud music plays for a few hours at night making it hard to relax and unwind.
Wifi was spotty at times.

I am in love with San Marco, just love the clean pristine white rooms. Value for $$$. Receptionist was very pleasant and helpful. Location10/10.
To complete the score, eolms should have a mini fridge and microwave that would seal the deal. Oh I forgot..the beds awesone too.

Location was perfect.
The morning receptionist behaved aggressively towards us, while the afternoon receptionist was very friendly.
Our room on the second floor had an unpleasant musty smell, due to water leaking from pipes.

We come tonSanMarco every year and this year we are pleased with the upgrade. Very clean and comfortable.

One of the receptionists was literally the rudest I have every met. The other was very pleasant.
Very noisy from outside, so bring earplugs.
Careful when ordering a double room, as it is actually twin single beds that cannot be put together

Booked room with double bed months earlier. When we checked in, there was only a single-bed arrangement was made available.

Negative Points: The bedroom windows don't open, shower area is very narrow and plastic curtains stick to the body while we shower, there was no hook to hang the towel, and there was no face towel, no fridge inside the room (but free ice and water all the time near frontdesk area)
Positive points: excellent location in heart of Punda neighborhood, very afordable rates, attentive and helpfull staff, free ice and water all the time what aliviate the lack of a small fridge at room.
I intend to visit Curaçao again, and consider the idea of stay at San Marco again, the hotel is under rennovation, and I expect the room assigned to me was not renovated yet.

Great location and driendly staff. Room was clean but spartan. Hotel exterior was under renovation and interior appeared to have been renovated. Good value!

Hotel is a bit outdated, but great location. It's a few blocks from the famous bridge and one block from the I love Curaçao sign.
Didn't know they were renovating the hotel on the outside until I checked in and got to my room and looked out of the window. Our view was blocked. Would have been nice to know beforehand or at least get some compensation.

Quaint clean looking old hotel. Love the historic vibe. The linens were clean and fresh and the staff was friendly. Very central location is great but there was noise until late into the night easily heard in the room. There was a musty smell on the 2nd floor from dirty laundry that was bagged up and ready to be carted away, that was gone in the morning but smelled bad all night.

Price friendly ,convenient and staff friendly.But it needs a refrigerator and a microwave in each guess rooms so if guess has left over food the can store it and reheat it . People personal foods should not be left in the lobby refrigerator . There is so many people going in and out the lobby refrigerators . So please work on that and it’s good.

Almost everything was really nice.
The things we didn't like were that the restaurant inside the hotel was closed, and that there were reparations being made a in the 5th and 6th floor, which caused noise

It is in the Centre of Willemstad, very convenient to walk everywhere. The rooms are relatively big. It is an old building considering all the buildings in Willemstad.

It’s a funky place - reception area is very nice and the rooms are too.
Check in was the slooowest & least effective ever! The front desk guy was .. not on the ball - the rest of the staff - were and were very helpful!
Room was comfy & clean except for the shower curtain.. quiet until the pre-evening of Kings Day - bad!! music blared & thumped until 1 am!!! I had an early flight! I paid to have a shower and to .. sleep!!! I did not get what I paid for.
The city needs to shut the noise down earlier - King day or .. not! Or, the hotel needs to sell the room for cheaper/refund part of my stay - sleep was not as expected/purchased.

The location is just fantastic. Hotel staff is very courteous. The facility needs a bit of an upgrade.
Prices of commodities are exorbitant in this area but then again that could be subjective.

The ladies at the front desk were incredible. They assisted me with transportation and dining options. Overall, I would recommend this place to anyone. I was on a solo trip, and everything was within walking distance from this hotel. There we construction going on but it did not bother me at all.

Close walking distance to everything. Under remodeling, construction noise doesn’t start until 10am.
Perfect inexpensive hotel. We stayed for 2 weeks, I was surprised by the lack of recycling and the single use of bath towels (switched out daily). Staff were friendly and made helpful suggestions on areas to visit.
On day 12 we came back to our room to see that a fridge had been put in and on day 13 a new tv had been mounted to the wall. We were in room 506.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The staff is impeccable. Love the ladies at the front desk. They are to respectfully, kind and offer so much knowledge of what to do during the weekend. They made my stay more enjoyable. The room was really nice, and the bed was very comfortable; I slept great, the bathroom was clean and the movie selection was great. The property is in the heart of downer Punda and that means a selection of restaurants, shopping and places to explore just in walking distance. I would for sure book this location again. Thank you San Marco!
