I toke a room with shared restroom and bathroom was my mistake the room was the smallest I ever been in and the price was low but I would pay extra to go to a burlap place

Beautiful little place. Great location. You can hear the party around but it stops at certain point. It needs maintenance but is what you get for the price. Overall great!

Loved that this place is close the the Main Street and the beach.

I did not like shared restrooms. small rooms, no electrical outlets, no towels, no clean floor. just plain inconvenient.

La ubicasion es perfecta y muy economico

The location of this place is the best! It is an old building very traditional and simple modest construction. We had to be moved to a different room as the first one had water leaking and ceiling was falling, but manager was very nice. You will not find a better place for the price! We had so much fun and really did not stay at the hotel at all, just to sleep and shower very late at night! Too many things to do outside 😜

when i booked it said free parking breakfast included and private bathroom when we got there we didnt get any of those so was very disappointed

The pool was empty and was being worked on. The electricity didn't work during most of our stay, which meant no water either so you couldn't use the toilet (as people used it and didn't flush). The place itself is cute and has potential but they should have been clear about the situation there

El cuarto estaba muy pequeńo, no habia sabanas ni suficientes toallas, el colchón está viejo y gastado. Lo que más me molesto es que me prometieron estacionamiento para mi vehiculo y tuve que parquear en la calle porque no habia. Yo no me quedaría aquí de nuevo.

This hotel was disgusting! When I got there power was off due to weather, but the bathrooms were SUPER dirty, not hot water, and I did not feel safe, and to top it off, they gave me only one towel, so cheap. Also, the pool was super dirty, dark water, just terrible. I forgot to complaint because I should've gotten my money back. The day I arrived there because of power was off they told me I couldn't stay because there was no way for them to check the computers, etc and they asked to find another place and that they would give me the money back, but I had an argument because how was I suppose to find a last min hotel when there was no power in certain areas, at the end they let me stay. This place has a lot of potential but owners need to pay more attention to their personal. Sorry, I just don't want tourist to have a bad impression about Mexico/people, even though I'm from south America living in the USA but as a tourist I know the disappointment feeling.

Initially i enjoyed the stay at the property but there were a few issues .. 1) There was no hot water, 2) there was no 24 hour wait between turning over rooms ( these were both concerns during this covid pandemic) Both of these issues were minor considering the poor service at checkout, the guy at the front desk tried to over charge me for my room , charging me for 2 days that i had already paid, luckily i produced my reciept , he wanted cash... probably a tourist scam he alway's run, just be careful, keep your records, especially if you don't speak Spanish!! Crooked guy basically ruined my stay!!

This was the fourth time that we stayed here. It's not a five star chain resort but that isn't what we want. This is in the heart of everything. Close to the beach. On the corner of Fifth Avenue. Super friendly staff. Great breakfast is included. Perfect setup

Friendly Staff, However if you purchase a single room the restrooms are not regularly cleaned. Property near many bars which are VERY LOUD. However if your single and in Playa del Carmen for a few nights this is an inexpensive way to travel.

Good location though really loud at night dont stay if your a light sleeper, otherwise ok hotel.

It was O.K. If you don't mind loud live music until 1~2am its gonna be comfortable. 보통이에요 근데 새벽 1~2시까지 시끄런 라이브가 들려도 상관없으면 편하게 있을 수 있어요

Nice courtyard, but not recommended to stay in the rooms with shared bathroom. The bathrooms are not cleaned well enough by the staff. Bring earplugs, as a rock concert goes on in a restaurant 100 meters from the hotel. On the positive side, nice courtyard and friendly staff.

This hotel is soo unorganized! This place is a joke including the the ladies who work front desk. I would never recomend this place . The only good thing about this place was the breakfast and lady who cooked it, she was really friendly and helpful. Santiago was also a nice guy. Mr Francisco was the most rude person ever! He pretty much told me to call hotels . Com to cancel and to find myself another place at 1030pm when they had no record of my reservation.

Cute hotel with a nice courtyard. Convenient to the beach and buses. Friendly staff. Plenty for breakfast. And the water dispensers are convenient and always filled. Our kids arranged for a Spanish lesson. The teacher was exceptional. Beware of the loud late night music from 5th avenue. Earplugs made it tolerable. The inconvenience was the hotel claimed to be overbooked and only one of our two rooms was available. This was very disappointing as we made reservations 5 months in advance. They were able to remedy the situation for our 2nd through 4th nights stay but not a pleasant way to start a vacation.

everything was fine

I was in this hotel for its language school and the hotel option was amazing - I just needed to walk through the garden to go to class. this was an excellent choice for me - centre of town, right downtown in the middle of all attractions!

This place is a mainly a school for students to stay while they are taking language classes. I chose this place to stay because of the low cost and thinking it would have basic hotel hospitality. The staff working there were not very helpful or professional when I had questions about the costs and when I told them my wallet was stolen. I would not recommend this place if you are taking a vacation. The pictures show computers but there were no computers to use when I got there, the bathrooms were not very clean and there is lots of noise you can hear from the streets at night. You get what you pay for.

I needed somewhere cheap to stay while in Playa. This place is simple but lovely. Small rooms, small pool and basic breakfast. For a traveller was fantastic value for money.
