The location is absolutely beautiful and we received an upgraded room right on the waterfront when we arrived at the property. Staff were extremely helpful throughout our stay.

I liked how this property is away from the main city and has easy parking (charged). The quietness and service to ensure clean towels and room when you’re back from a day out.

The room service, room condition, location and view everything was top notch.. Complete value for money. Would be visiting again for sure.

Great to be able to arrange an early check-in as we needed to be at the Earnslaw wharf for a Walter Peak cruise. Water taxi transport option was cheap and quick. Room was basic but functional. A bit more care with cleaning could be taken. Overall very enjoyable

Lovely staff and the management. They made our 30th anniversary very special and memorable. They gave us lots of surprises for our anniversary. When we enter the room there were lovely bottle of wine and chocolate with a greeting card which we didn’t expect on our arrival. We had a wonderful time there and never forget it. Will definitely recommend Hilton and will be visiting there again soon. Staff were amazing and always make us comfortable and enjoy our stay there. Very special thank to the front check in staff member Srijan who was so helpful and very supportive and also the Wakatipu restaurant manager for arranging a lovely anniversary dinner table for us with a greeting card and champagne. Everything was great. Thank you everyone who made our stay so memorable. See you soon again.

Lovely spot and view. Let down by all the damage around the property and carpets. Needs maintenance done.

I was lucky to receive an upgrade and it was much appreciated, my room was Devine. Staff were all so lovely and helpful. Great quiet area, comfy beds, cosy warm rooms . Can’t wait to come back

Amazing location

Room was clean & shared a restaurant with the adjacent Hilton Hotel but bathroom sliding door would not stay closed, no balcony even though we had lakeview, which we saw above roofs immediately outside our window- a bit strange.

We were very surprise on the location of the hotel. It was near the mountain and the lake and the view was wonderful. The staffs of the hotel who assissted us Jessy during our check in and Johara when we check out were very helpful to us. Great job to them!

Conveniently located near the airport

We only stayed the night before a flight, but the room was more than adequate and comfortable. It would have been very convenient to have an airport shuttle (free or at a fee) as parking is NZ $16/day, but I understand it may not be feasible. All in all, I would recommend this property to others.

Beautiful location, peaceful, quiet. Modern facility, bed super comfortable and pillows were amazing. Room service prices were pretty pricey though!

Our stay at the Hilton was superb. The checkin staff team - Lee & her colleague Arun recognised road weary travellers & took over, helping with our bags and recommendations. The room was spacious with a deep bath and comfortable bed. Our dining experience delicious and the outdoor fire pit a special treat. Our overall impression was of a professional team delivering a great service. Thank you.
