Room needed bedside tables and lights for guests who like to read before going to sleep. All room lamps (2 and 1 on walls next to beds and 1 on the ceiling) turn on/off with single switch.
No staff member on front desk when I checked out.

Casa Verde has been a wonderful discovery. From Travis the owner, to the cleaning girls, everyone is so nice. My room was comfortable and super clean. Next to my room I had a little terrace where I would go to sun bathe and then go down to the pool area. I have spent the most wonderful days at Casa Verde and already have my reservation made for next time. And from now on, the last week of August is for Rincón and Casa Verde. Oh before I forget, they have a bar, Bug Kahuna. Bar there is the best and the food, so fresh. Can’t wait to be back.

Found bugs in the room the first day and stains on the sheets checked another room out and found the same bugs. Staff is nice and showed us the spots to go on in very grateful. Location is only good if you have car rental but close to Sandy beach.

The staff were wonderful. I had step out and left jewelry in the room in which I called staff: Eric he went to the room and it was there he secure it for me. Very honest and very professional will go again there. We left a day early due to a death in the family. Next time we go I want to enjoy the pool and the amenities around the area.

We arrived several days after hurricane Ernesto struck the island and were unable to reach reception to inquire about the conditions in the hotel and vicinity. I attempted to reach them at different times but was unsuccessful. There was no one in the reception area upon our arrival and a note was left in the reception’s closed door directing us to go to the Kahuna bar to meet with the bouncer for access into our room. In summary, the room’s floor was dirty, the music played loud all night, there was no hot water and the hotel staff was cold and indifferent to our concerns. Upon checking out, the reception staff member “Alex” did not even acknowledge or said goodbye.

The physical property is beautiful, steps from the beach with amazing sunsets, and the rooms are spacious, well lit and decorated. Unfortunately, bathroom shower water isnt hot, even after running the water for 15 minutes.

Love the service, Alex was very nice amd attentive. We rented the whole house and its beautiful and comfortable. When returning to Rincón we'll definitely stay there.

We had an amazing stay! The staff was super helpful and the location was awesome, just a block away from the beach. The bar attached to the hotel could get a bit loud at night, but they stopped playing music at around midnight, so it wasnt an issue for us. Overall, a lovely stay.

Overall, Casa Verde is a great place to stay. Clean, staff is friendly, neighborhood is great. It has newer owners - it’s been a few years since we’ve stayed and some aspects are not as nice as they used to be but we got a great deal, July being the off-season. For what we paid, it was great. A safe, dependable place to stay in Rincon, which has become pricey.

Two of the doors broke as i was opening them. And i ask for two beds and gave me a sofa that had a 2 inch thick matress which i layed in and it was very uncomfortable.

This place was cute and the staff were friendly and accommodating. The hotel could use a bit of a renovation. The towels were old and dingy, there was no hot water (solar) despite instructions to let it run for 10 minutes. And the air conditioner caused quite a bit of an allergic reaction for all of us. However, the pool was cute and the location was a perfect distance to the beach- only a couple of blocks. They also offered several amenities such as beach towels and rentals of sorts.

I like the restaurant in the area, the attractions, shopping areas. I didn't like the hotel's room, the TV didn't work, no hot water in the shower, low water pressure in the shower.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed our time! Sandy beach surfing was lots of fun! We will be back!

I liked the area, it was a cute place but what I didn’t like was the noise, music late at night from the restaurant/bar area, the water pressure in the shower was very bad, and they should have conditioner to put in hair after you shampoo for people with long hair.

We loved the walkable distance to the beach and the excellent food all around the property. The staff were friendly and extremely engaging and helpful for all of our needs. We cannot wait to return again soon!

Good location. Able to walk to several nearby beaches. Close to Sandy beach where they had beach chairs and umbrellas to rent for the day and surfboard rental. Hotel was clean and nearby bar had great music.

My son and I enjoyed Casa Verde. The solar power and rainwater for freshwater are great ideas. No complaints about the room. The surf shop was great and has a great t shirt selection. We liked the food at Big Kahuna but the music is so loud we only went once. Impossible to have a conversation. It was loud all the time, customers or not. I love loud music but not constantly in my head when eating. That’s really all we didn’t like. A band the night before we left until midnight? It’s a small neighborhood and just didn’t fit the overall vibe. The whole building was shaking. Unnecessary.
