The breakfast is amazing best in town and justify the room price that is higher then should be. The staff is very thoughtful and helpful they agree to push check out time without extra payment. The room is small and has no coffee machine but considering all and all i will probably come back there.

I loved this place - a good old fashioned hotel that was a little bit quirky. Super friendly staff and paid parking close by. The main attractions were also walkable. Would definitely stay again.

I had specifically selected on a hotel and room with air conditioning, and did only expect it would be a mounted air conditioning. This was not the case. I am disappointed overseeing the high ratings for this hotel and that I booked a standard room and not a budget room as was advertised at other sites. However, air conditioning was mobile and only worked with window open for the hose. This means hot air comes in the room and that you hear the church bell every quarter from early to late. Without air conditioning it would be way to hot in the room. For the rest room, hotel, breakfast and location were fine.

Highly recommend City Hotel Ost if you are staying in Augsburg. Friendly staff (ask for Mandy!) and clean rooms with good AC during the hot months. Super close to the city center for shopping and dining.

We arrived late at the hotel and there was no available parking at the parking lot the hotel has an arrangement with. We had to find parking a bit further away. Understandable since the location is very central. Recommend this hotel!

Great one night stay. Parking was close and the hotels location was perfect to see the Altstadt. The bed was surprisingly comfortable! One of the few German gasthauses with air conditioning. Breakfast buffet was big and had plenty to choose from.

Wonderful Hotel, unassuming from outside but beautiful inside. Retaining charm it also has enough modern features for comfort. Best buffet breakfast I have had with a range of usual fare, however their additional selection of healthy organic options and freshly made vegetable and fruit shots were unique and tasty.Beds were very comfortable !!
