I was very pleasantly surprised by Dreamtel, as it was part of a bargain trip. Located near everything in KK the hotel was clean, comfortable and spacious (we had a room for 3). Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast with good local choice as well as continental.

Staff very professional and welcoming. Breakfast well above average. Daily housekeeping 100%. Really enjoyed our 4 nights stay. Will stay again next trip to KK.

this is a decent hotel just a stone throw away from the gaya street. While there are nothing much next to the hotel, Gaya street is just 200m away.

Good location. Breakfast average. Room allotted was small and not very clean but was moved to a bigger and cleaner room the next day. Reception staff very helpful and polite.

Had a great time in KK. Your breakfast staff needs to pay attention to little details lile refilling the coffee machines BEFORE they run out of milk, and making sure there are serving spoons for rice, etc. please try to clean up the rat situation in alley in next building..? So many cats, cannot kill the rats? :)

The carpet need to be changed. The water from the shower area could not properly drained. Mgt need to check the smell as well due to the old carpet.

Reach there tired and Hotel electrical power is out. no standy genset to supply electrical power. Customer was told to wait for power restoration.

Old towels were retrieved after room service and no new towels would be given unless requested. But the overall service was good

Took airport taxi to hotel (30MYR) and haggled for the trip back to airport via taxi (25MYR). There was a stop for the airport bus in front of the hotel (and to the right a little bit) but with an infant and taxi rates where we are from, we did not think twice for the convenience of the taxi ride. Maybe if there were only 2 of us and not much bags we will take the bus the next time around. Hotel is decent enough. Looks clean as it seems like it has been recently renovated. Breakfast is nothing fancy, but fills you up. There was a little variety on the succeeding days, but not much. The room is smallish, but comfy enough. They had a water heater - perfect for sanitizing our infant's stuff - and a safe, and these were a big plus for us. The flat panel TV only had 10 channels, mostly in a foreign language, but we contented ourselves with the Discovery Channel. The room AC did not cool when we first turned it on. Called for help and engineering arrived 10 minutes later. Took about 5 minutes to fix. AC still not very cool, but we thought it was just cool enough. Hotel staff - most were polite, some indifferent. They spoke English but could not understand sometimes. Hotel is very close to Gaya St., where we loved eating cheap and delicious Malaysian food. A small 7-11 is a few steps to the left of hotel entrance. The food market by the sea was a 15-min walk away. There was a park next to the hotel. If you expect what you pay for, this hotel will exceed expectations

i stayed here for 3 days 2 nights and it was a good stay. the staffs were helpful and all smiley which makes it easier for us to deal with. the room was also nice. i just hope i got a room with a window though so that i can see the weather around the area. it is conveniently in the kk city centre. you can walk from the hotel and venture the kk city easily. the breakfast was ok. its just a decent breakfast spread. i just wish the noodles or nasik goreng cooked were a little more tastier. the taste was quite bland to be honest. overall, its such a convenient stay for me and ill surely recommend this place to my friends & families.
