Our room smelled horribly. And its not spacious. Pulling the hideabed out left no room to walk. I would not recommend staying here. Not for the price i paid. OUCH!!!!

We had a king suite. When couch bed unfolded it abutted the king bed. No space to walk.

Great hotel

We had no Internet service and the TV in our room kept shutting off after a few minutes. Paid for services not provided. We will be staying in other hotels in the future. Staff mentioned internet was down for days—this is a national chain! Frustrating stay!

Hobby and room were clean and cheerful. Check in was quick and front desk staff was friendly.

Great beds

I can’t describe how disappointed I was with this stay. I had high expectations because of high ratings, and this was Marriott! The instant I walked into the hotel I regretted my decision. It was filthy and the lobby was small. There was some bad smell, and the floor was sticky. I would never stay here anymore. Do not be fooled by its fake high ratings!

We had two rooms for the night instead of one because of a mistake had been made by the hotel. When we got into one of the rooms it smelled disgusting and realized it was coming from the garbage disposal. The whole room had a foul smell all the way from the entryway into the bathroom. We called the front desk to see what they could do and at first it didn't seem like they really want to help, but after speaking with them more they were convinced to go out and get us some disposal cleaners. It was us and not an employee who tried to use the cleaner on the disposal only to find out it wasn't working. The disposals in all the hotel rooms should be checked on a regular basis to make sure that they are all in working condition. One of the rooms we didn't end up having to pay for because of all the issues which was appreciated, however the stay was very disappointing and will never stay there again.

Clean and well equipped room

Staff was great. Can tell there was some water damage on the ceilings and probably also the walls as there were a lot of patchy paint jobs. Had to go down to the front desk for things that were “supposed to be” in the room, like hand towels in the bathroom, etc. While having breakfast on our last day, one of the staff was pretty upset about 2 kids getting stuck in the elevator and they pushed the emergency button, lots of cursing occurred with other families around. If I return it’s due to price and convenience.

The property was clean and easy to get to. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Noise! Person above us stomped across floor until midnight. Sounded like multiple kids and adults. Called desk several times they did nothing.

We arrived at our hotel, not knowing if we were staying one day or 4. The Mariott was so accommodating and willing to work with us. The rooms were spacious and clean. Our favorite part was the gathering place in which we were able to watch the Big 12 tournament. We also enjoyed the breakfast. We would certainly stay here again!

This was my first time here and honestly I was more comfortable here than I have ever been in any hotel I’ve ever stayed in.

The Front Desk Staff were the BEST!!! As a family we were all from out of town there for a funeral, not the best of occasions any time of year let alone during the Holidays. We were without a place to "hang" for an hour prior to the service and the front desk staff graciously allowed our group to hang out in the lobby and visit during out wait. We had already checked out of our rooms that morning so there certainly wasn't any obligation on the Hotel's part to allow us in. True Hospitality by definition. I hope management recognizes the gems they have employed.

Do some maintenance to the property. First thing i noticed was big areas where the res paint was gone behind the receptionist. The front desk wasnt pleasing. It felt cheap. And the room that i stayed in for 5 hrs wasnt cheap.

What is described as a suite was a large room, crammed with a bed, couch and desk. Kitchenette in a hall as you enter the room. Will not use TownePlace Suites again when traveling. Also the breakfast selections were terrible.

Our room door malfunctioned but the manager took great care of us. Staff friendly and kind. Great place for business weekly stays with the mini kitchen.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite for 3 days. Did not have enough linen for the 5 people sharing the room. Needed to get bedding for the pull out sofa and there was only 1 roll of toilet paper between the two bathrooms. Also intended on using the kitchen and did but had to ask for a baking cheer and more than 2 spoons. We did not get housekeeping at all during our stay, no extra garbage bags so that we could clean up after ourselves seeing that we where using the kitchen as a kitchen. The hotel it’s self is nice but service was not so great. We where given a feeling of being annoying when we kept running down to the desk asking for the basics that should have been in our room for us already.

We had a 2 bedroom/2 bath suite. No pots or pans, no glasses, no cooking utensils. The carpet was not vacuumed or clean. Discovered ants in the kitchen. The staff was friendly and got us these items after walking back to the front desk as phones did not work in rooms. For the money we paid, it was a bad experience for a Marriott chain. I would not come back. Here's hoping for a better breakfast experience in the morning.
