5 minutes away from Kyoto station. It looks quite new. The onsen was amazing.

We arrived too early for check in. They kept the lugged for us. When we came back the hotel later, they already carry the luggage to the room. Only one thing I’d like hotel to consider was, open the hot spring earlier than 6:30am. We checked out 7am, did not enough time to use the hot spring in the morning.

It is close to the main train line. The hot springs are wonderful, staff is professional and the building/rooms are spotless and comfortable.

This property is conviently close to Kyoto station and Kyoto Tower which made it perfect for moving around Kyoto and taking Shinkansens to other cities. Its in a relatively quiet area near the train station but also has plenty of foot traffic near it which helped us feel safe and comfortable waling to the hotel at any hour. We also loved the delicious restaurants that were nearby that really made this stay a highlight if our trip!

Staff is amazing and hotel is located next to Kyoto Station so it is easy to get to if on foot with luggage. The onsen is great and there are laundry facilities as well. breakfast was a delicious authentic Japanese breakfast! Would recommend this place to everyone!

Quite close to Kyoto station (only 5 minutes walk). Several convenient stores near by thus very convenient for a day to day shopping. Building and equipment are all new and clean. There is a hot spring (Onsen) on 8th floor. Overall very useful and convenient for a trip.

Highly recommend, we very much enjoyed our stay here! We booked the Japanese traditional style room with its own private onsen. It was very ideal as we could not use the communal hotel hot springs as we have tattoos, but this did not bother us as we booked the private room for this purpose. The room was incredibly spacious and using the onsen was a lovely experience. The hotel staff were very welcoming and helped us greatly, particularly with helping us with luggage transfers. Even though we have very limited knowledge of Japanese, staff were able to help us in English which we appreciated. All in all it was a lovely short stay we had and great location, very near Kyoto Station.

Not worth the price.

The hotel is about a 10-minute walk from the Kyoto Station. which has a wide range of shops and restaurants. The only downside is that there is limited storage space in the room. Our room is at the corner of the corridor. It has a reasonably good size but is not effectively used. Nevertheless, it is good value for money given an onsen hotel. The laundry is convenient for the guests although the drying machine can be more powerful.

The staff was exceptional and the Onsen (hot spring) was heaven after a day of walking up stairs visiting temples. Close to the train station (5 min walk) which has plenty of stores and restaurants/bars with great variety. The beds were insanely comfortable. I will certainly be staying here when I come back to Kyoto.

Hotel staff was extremely polite, helpful, prompt and professional. The onsen was excellent, and the room was perfect for my wife and I. Clean, nice yukatas, and a great hybrid design of traditional Japan and modern amenities.

It was nice experience staying in family room. I just wish you add body lotion to your amenities 😊

The hotel is only a 5-min walk from JR Kyoto Station. It's very easy to reach any place from the station, so that provides lots of convenience. Each guest room provides a full bath, but the hotel also provides large hot spring baths upstairs for male customers and female customers in different sections. After walking all day, it's such a relief and relaxing moment soaking in the hot spring. We had a nice stay.

Hotel is precisely like on picture, clean, neat, modern and very polite staff. The breakfast is kaseki incl. a western buffet. The hotspring is good temperature and also clean and modern. It was really nice staying at Hatoya Zuihokaku, I would want to go there again for next time.
