The property was clean and in a good location !

Excellent staff and although the hotel appears a little old in comparison to other in the area , everything was clean and the staff was very helpful in every way. Super close to Echo beach which is not a the nicest or cleanest beach but its got good surf and food vibes around. It’s got good places to eat accross from it , convenient store and currency exchange a few steps away

10/10 stay in Bali. AC was an 8.5/10 but every single other thing is 10/10. Great staff, great rooms, great pool, and great day/night life in the entire area, would highly recommend.

The staff always greeted me with a smile

This place was so great, especially for the price. We stayed during my birthday and the staff came to our room to surprise me with a free desert. Location is great, super close to the beach and a ton of amazing restaurants. Room was very comfy, spacious and clean. Would definitely recommend

Terrible noisey hotel, beside of this thay we’re fixing the floor near the pool.

Very friendly staff that were happy to help. Bed comfy, room kept most of the light out. Shut out a fair bit of noise but as expected on a busy road, you could hear some noise.

This place is a total fraud, it is horrible, I had two nights reserved, and I had to leave at dawn, the room and the entire hotel are completely neglected and dirty. Especially the bathroom, it looked like it hadn't been cleaned in months, the towels were stained, dirty and smelled bad. I asked them to clean my room, and the only thing they do is make the bed. It's disgusting.

Tried to downgrade my room even though I paid for a better room purposefully. Said they had none left and put me in a family room instead. Rooms and building are olddddddd and poorly maintained. There were construction works at midnight carrying out work and making soo much noise. Not a comfortable room by any means. Stained towels and overall dirty bathroom.

Handy location. Friendly helpful staff. Bathroom towels could be cleaner. Bed comfortable. Overall pleasant stay.

Great experience for a great price, really good rooms and service, as well as amenities.

The bathroom was not good . The edges were all stained . The curtain was stained too. When the staff when to clean the room they forgot to put the towels and the toilet paper. The mattress and pillow were not very comfortable but it was ok. Breakfast was ok. I really like the fried rice. Location is perfect if you’re a surfer and also for shopping and restaurants. But I wouldn’t come back because of the bathroom. Also the door from the balcony is not in good condition and it was hard to open and close.

The room was moist, the bathroom smelled bad, the mini fridge did not work, there was constantly bugs in our room and it even started dripping water from the roof at some point. We checked out 4 days earlier cus we were so disappointed. The staff was nice, but the room’s definitely were not.

Upon arrival at 2.15pm check in was not until 3pm. Then the allocated room was filthy floor wet clean towels dirty stains and the toilet flush running. I was then allocated another room which was not much better. I cut my looses and left 2 days early to a clean hygienic hotel.

The place is like a hostel. It’s cheap and cheerful for the area but the photos were taken a while back. The rooms are basic. They are poorly designed - no blackout curtains, just some shutters, no soft close doors so people slam them closed - all night! - the fridge doesn’t get cold, the bed uncomfortable, one pillows each. Walls thin so could hear next door talking all night. The pool area had 5 sun beds and a bunch of beanbags - not enough for the size of the hotel. The decking around the pool was falling apart. Some planks sucking up, others you nearly fell through. Pool was freezing. Cocktails from hotel were cheap - but awful. Food was served from the nice rooftop restaurant which is cheap - but not the best. We only ate there as there was a storm that night and couldn’t be bothered to go out. I complained about the noise from the next room and asked to check out a night early as I’d booked 3 nights and has been kept awake since 3am on the first night when our neighbours returned from their night out. The hotel refused to let us cancel a night as we’d booked a non refundable rate. They did however move us to a family room 403 which was away from everyone else on the top floor. If booking and value your sleep treat yourself to this room as we slept much better and the room was spacious even though basic. The staff were very friendly and helpful so if you want cheap and cheerful and can sleep through anything then this is ok

Room was ok, very noisy. You can hear ppl walking on the hallway and the cleaners doing the rooms. We only stayed for a few hours mainly to have a place to stay while waiting for our flight. Tried to rest and get some sleep but it was too noisy. Room had a door that interconnected to the room next door. Ppl kept trying to open it which made it impossible to relax. Our room had access to the pool although it was convenient and an extra feature it was the only Pool in the building so you’ll have ppl swimming at your bedroom door. Bed was comfy but super noisy. Staff were very helpful and attentive. We ended up staying only for 4 hours thankfully.

Don't be fooled by the cover shot. This place needs alot of attention. If your a backpacker it's fine but it's a very basic arrangement otherwise. The outside pool area is um falling apart. And a safety trip hazard as decking is coming up. Only a few deck beds for the whole hotel and the rest is some uncomfortable beanbags. The whole pool area is in front of someone's room. So it's abit strange there's no sort of common pool. Then in the rooms the mini fridge (no water given daily, just a water tank at reception) is the same temperature as outside. The air con is loud and doesn't really work properly anymore and the safety box was replaced several times as not working and then carried away and swapped out with another room. The shower felt dirty and need to wear the thongs in on all occasions. There is no wardrobe but a ladder to drape dresses or hanging clothes. And finally reception. Again needs a facelift. The owner needs to part with a bit of cash and give this place a bit of love.. there is hard working staff but I think they are embarrassed by what they have to apologize constantly for.

This was my second time staying at FRii in Canggu. Canggu is a lot more busy these days and fortunately this hotel is right in the centre of everything. The location is so ideal. It’s a simple hotel but has all you could need, it’s super clean and affordable. Would definitely stay here again.

Staff was lovely, sadly there was no room to hang any clothes or store luggage or anything. Also there was no hot water, which was very surprising since there was hot and cold taps. I moved after one day to a less expensive place with alot more amenities. Check all options before just booking. Staff again was lovely.

A very nice hotel nearby the hip spots in Canggu. Friendly & helpful staffs. The view from the rooftop is really nice to enjoy the golden hours with cold beers.
