Beautiful hotel, well located and friendly staff. Breakfast a bit chaotic fro a service perspective - they seemed to be short staffed and had multiple trainees but this should improve.

Absolutely fantastic hotel right in the middle of Lisbon. Great rooms, great service and made for a brilliant weekend.

Wonderful hotel, centrally positioned on a beautiful avenue of expensive shops. Very well positioned for visiting all the sights of Lisbon. Room very comfortable and food at breakfast and in the restaurant is excellent. Lovely areas to sit out and enjoy a peaceful drink. All the staff were extremely helpful and very pleasant. We would definitely stay there again!

The hotel location is great - it’s in a very nice location and easy to walk to many restaurants and sites. The room (classic double) was very dark and small - the bathroom was also v dark and didn’t seem to have the same air conditioning as the bedroom and so was hot. The TV was average in quality - not a big thing but for a hotel of this quality I would have expected better. The breakfast was very limited - you could order eggs and pancakes, but there was no bacon or other hot foods in the buffet. The staff were all very friendly, knowledgeable and clearly committed to very good service. This hotel is in a great location - but we stayed at a hotel closer to the water a couple of weeks ago that was much better value, better quality and much bigger space and I would trade that for 5 minutes longer walk to get to the main restaurants and tourist sites.

Valverde is a beautiful hotel, good location the reception staff were very friendly and nice. However their were a few issues with service, usb on one side of the bed did not work, TV did not work, nice to get slipper but they were very small sizes, toilet kept running, we had to call room service numerous items , they were very nice and came to fix the items but it was just annoying after a while to keep calling for things. Although the reception is very nice I think in the future they should provide tips to their guests on things we would not know. For example we had asked about going to Sintra, they told us about getting their and purchasing tickets ahead of time. Which we did however when we got there the weather was really bad. Our taxi driver told us Sintra has a very weird Micro weather system and often has odd weather. And unfortunately we did not dress properly, weather in Lisbon was warm, Sintra it was cold, windy, rainy. Due to that purchasing tickets in advance was a waste as everyone had to stand in the same long line. It would have been good for the hotel to have told us to be aware of the weather even though Lisbon and Sintra are 30 mins away the weather is completely different. Overall it was a nice stay, a couple of items they can get better on.

Absolutely loved this boutique hotel. From the moment you walk in, the scent is amazing. The staff is wonderfully attentive and responsive. The rooms are very cozy. The bed linens are luxurious. The bathroom and shower so great and the towels are on a warmer! Morning breakfast was delicious with wonderful small pastries and a choice of eggs, pancakes, etc. - all wonderful small bites. We had dinner here one night, too which was excellent. The hotel’s location on the main avenue is great, too. I love using Fodor’s for recommendations when I travel which is where I got the hotel. Excellent recommendation!

We just loved this boutique property on the main drag in Lisbon. The staff could not have been better! Incredibly accommodating and just all around great service. The smell of the hotel was wonderful and relaxing. The rooms are wonderful-great bedding and bathroom (with towel warmers!). Dinner at Sitio was really wonderful and so was the daily breakfast. Highly recommend!

The hotel was really charming with the great energy. But what really makes it great is the staff it was mind blowing how nice is the staff are. Everyone from the front desk to bartender were grate. Our concierge Ruben what an intelligent young man. Sorry I can’t mention everybody’s name because simply don’t remember but many thanks to everyone. I think they work so hard that try made the hotel special

My wife and I just got home from a long weekend in Lisbon and we had a wonderful time. Part of what made our trip so great was our stay at Hotel Valverde. A beautiful hotel steps from shopping and amazing dining options but still quiet and relaxing. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly. The concierge Ruben was simply the best, he helped us with reservations, suggestions and everything we could of asked for. I would highly recommend a stay at this wonderful hotel.

The hotel restaurant plays loud music until midnight. This seems odd given many want to sleep and the restaurant has only a few patrons. Next the cleaning staff should not run shop vacs in the courtyard starting at 6am. It’s especially noisy. Finally there is an outside party that goes on several doors down. That party has loud thumping music until 4am on Friday and Saturday. Everything else about the hotel is nice.

Great location

The hotel was excellent. Location was very convenient. You could easily walk to most locations in downtown Lisbon or take the metro which was basically across the street from the hotel and that would get you to a number of places easily. It was far if you wanted to visit Belem but it was easy to either get an Uber or have the hotel arrange for a taxi. The service at the hotel was excellent. All of the staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming. The room was clean and I thought we had a good amount of space for a room in a city hotel. My only negative was the breakfast buffet. The service was great and the food was very good, there just wasn’t a large variety of things except for the pastries. But we were still happy with what we had at the buffet. I would absolutely stay here again if I return to Lisbon.

Valverde Hotel is one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at. It’s charming, beautiful and the staff is extremely friendly, welcoming and professional!

The hotel is absolutely beautiful. The staff is terrific, welcoming and kind. The GM Adelia is the best person for the job. She's very accommodating and cares for the clients. High end hotel with perfect amenities and the food was delicious. We will be back that's for sure.

This hotel should be the example for other hotels. The amenities, decor, rooms, facilities are impeccable. However what really puts it on a higher level is the staff. From the moment I checked in to the moment I left , every single staff member were helpful, friendly , professional , and well versed in the area and the hotel. The hotel has a lovely pool area for a city property, many quiet sitting rooms to take a port and relax. There is an oasis in the back for cocktails and breakfast. It really is an outstanding hotel tucked away on a fabulous high end shopping area. The staff is young but professional. An older couple and a young couple would be very comfortable here. I cannot give enough accolades To the staff. They made my stay in Lisbon even more Spectacular!
