Great overnight stay near the town centre. Godd location and great ground floor room

The traffic can get noisy as of busy road. Monday morning a construction sight had noisy trucks and fortcliffs. So best to stay friday and saturday night. Unless a heavy sleeper. Nice and clean. Do need some upgrades for electric jug and the mugs were very small. The sheets were not very soft but other than that very pleased and nice services. Very clean and tidy.

The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly, adding to a pleasant stay. The rooms were serviced daily and were quite quiet, comfortable and spacious with a modern feel. Conveniently placed, shopping and restaurants were close by. The outdoor activities were also close, as well as the Coastal Walk.

Shower head was faulty. Water sprayed all over except on you. Staff tried to assist but unfortunately did not resolve issue

The Dawson Motel was very close to the shops and restaurants. But you could also park your car safely at the Motel if needed.

The Dawson doesn't differ much from other motels in this category. My stay was comfortable, but traffic noise can be a bit bothersome. The Dawson has no pool or sports equipment, which I would expect of a 41/2 star motel, especially for the price which I paid !

On arrival we were greeted by one of the lovely owners and provided with guidance about the WiFi and parking available, as well as a generous glass bottle of milk. The master bedroom and lounge both had TV's with Sky. We had a very pleasant stay and we will definitely be back again. Highly recommended!

We were in New Plymouth for the Americarna weekend and booked this months in advance thankfully. It was clean and tidy with a very comfortable bed. We particularly liked how close to the centre of town it is so we could walk everywhere. Would definitely stay again.
