Suited to what we needed, shame no pool. Bed comfy, shower way too small! Tv great and quiet area with nice river frontage. Building very old an upgrade would be better and worth the charged rate. Must be a high crime area due to windows and doors pretty badly patched up and missing important lock features.
A night or two is ok. I wouldn’t recommend family friendly, very close to water and no fencing.

A bit noisy but the room was very nice and clean, pillows are uncomfortable but overall money well spent.

Overall the hotel was a good place to reside for a couple of nights.The room was spacious and very clean.The bed was very comfortable.It was just a few minutes walk to the restaurants.Also it had a seemingly unlimited walking path alongside the lake which I found very pleasant.The only flaw was the shower door which allowed water to escape on the bathroom floor when taking a shower.Overall I would recommend to people as a great reasonably priced motel to stay a few nights.

Our fourth stay. Disappointed this time. Leaking shower over bathroom floor, toilet bowl lifted off floor, biscuits on first night but none on next two days. Wet towels not replaced. Had to use bath mat to wipe up wet floor but never replaced.
Very quiet. Pub over bridge does good deals at night.

Smelly carpets, wash basin was leaking, water from the shower was coming out of the drain in the bathroom. Such a terrible experience and a complete waste of money.

The shower leaked onto the floor of the bathroom and then into the hallway. The toilet gurgled and nearly overflowed each time it was flushed and the shower head dripped most of the night.

Location was convenient, room wasn’t made up when I arrived though at 7.00 at night. Owners were quick to correct the problem.

When I arrived to this Motel I was denied any accommodation because they claim i booked the wrong day when clearly my invoice says it was between the 30th of January to the 31st of January. This is the worst booking experience ever.

Lovely hotel right on the lake. Our room was clean comfortable and fresh. Plenty of dining options within walking distance and great walking paths for a stretch or watching the sunset. We would definitely recommend as a comfortable convenient place to stay.

We loved the room for our family of 4. Plenty of bedding and towels. The bathroom and kitchenette seemed to have been recently renovated, and had everything we needed. The only slightly frustrating thing that was the ironing board was a miniature one, which was difficult to use, and there was no ideal place to use it, near a power point, in the room. Otherwise, it was great - thank you.

We drive from Melbourne to Gold Coast and back several times a year and Hibiscus, with its riverside location, beautiful views, clean, spacious rooms and proximity to cute town and dining choices is our favourite stop over. Now we have discovered they also have a Tesla charger and it’s totally sealed the deal. Thank you for lovely stop over.

We received the incorrect room! Staff say it was WOT IFs problem but after contacting WOTIF they say that it was correct and Motel should accommodate our booking. Nothing happened. Staff member was rude and dismissed my booking reservation.
No phone reception in room, there was WIFI but not very strong. It was close to restaurants and it was nice to be able to hear waves crashing in the still of night.
