I really enjoyed the Convenience of this hotel.

Being literally inside Kyoto Station certainly has it's perks. It is extremely convenient as a home base for travelling around Kyoto. If its raining you can still hop onto a train or bus without feeling a drop. Plenty of food, shopping, a few temples and the Kyoto Tower are all within a few blocks. I will definitely stay again if I'm ever back in Kyoto!

The front desk staff are helpful and welcoming. Room condition is nice and tidy. Even though the hotel is situated right next to Kyoto Station, with my room practically right next to the Shinkansen rail track, the sound proofing is good.😂 Location is superb and convenient. Overall, it is a pleasant stay. Will definitely recommend it to anyone who visits Kyoto.

Kintetsu hotel is a 3.5 star hotel in an excellent location. Room pricing is at fair rates. Staff is excellent as expected for a Japanese hotel. On the negative Side, the hotel should provide luggage delivery to other hotels.

Easy access to train

My wife and I had a delightful 3 days in Kyoto and had a lot to do with the Hotel accommodations. We will highly recommended also for all the benefits of being there at the Train Station at the tip of your fingers. Great restaurants, High End stores and next to the Hop on Hop Off depot. It was a pleasure.

Location, Accessibility, clean rooms, friendly and helpful customer service and staff.

The hotel is right at the Station giving easy access to trains and the excellent shopping and restaurant mall, including a convenience store that stocked milk labelled as low fat and tea bags of black tea for an Aussie style tea guzzler. The hotel also had a rule that housekeeping would not enter your room unless you gave them permission by way of one of three different magnetic cards on the door. A great way to protect privacy. They needed a fourth for please empty the rubbish bins, so that towels didn't need to be replaced and beds remade every time you needed your bins emptied, but that is a minor issue.

Wish they provided a second pillow per bed. Closet space very limited. I believe hotel was designed for Business travelers. Located at Train Station was excellent.

This hotel is right in the Kyoto station but since the station is so big, it was difficult to find. The room was just big enough for the bed. It was clean.

The property was conveniently located in the same building as the Kyoto train station and made it easy for families traveling to the city for the first time. The breakfast was delicious and staff were so nice.

For being the first time traveling to Kyoto I was extremely happy in staying here. Staff extremely helpful, convenient transportation is everywhere in the area and great starting point if you want to walk around town. Plenty of food and shopping areas. I will definitely come back to this hotel on my next visit.

I think this was the best place we stayed at on our trip to Japan! Located actually inside of the train station, you couldn't want for better conveniences and so quiet, you'd never guess that there were trains & thousands of people passing by! Shopping & dining options were plentiful & amazing and the accommodations were quite comfortable. HIGHLY recommend!!!

The best parts about my hotel room? really strong shower - my expensive Rome room had a really pathetic one warm toilet seats - 👍 kettle - you’ll be surprised how many places don’t have one or one that’s as powerful and keeps warm buckwheat pillow - very firm but oddly comfy good spread at breakfast housekeeping is very thorough and clean - this is something you can’t take for grant bad parts? Well language is still a challenge, I know they are trying but it was not easy especially when I wanted a ride to the airport with a proper infant seat I’m ok with the sound from the trains and it’s really soft, lulled me to sleep actually but some might be very particular all in all, good value for the price I paid a few months back a solid 8/10 or more

It is super near the kyoto station, but it took us quite some time to find the right direction. Room is typical Japanese hotel small size. Still ok for us. Bed pillow is small. Bed might be hard for some. Complimentary breakfast is ok. We ate once only because we need the stomach for kyoto food on other days.

The hotel is a 3.5 to 4 star hotel. Location within the station is excellent for JR/Shinkansen travelers. Only familiar with premium twin rooms which are spacious enough two larger suitcases. We use Kyoto as a base hotel ( t to 10 nights) and our trip is 20 over the past 20 years.
