Excellent Uppsala location. Walkable to everything

Excellent location for Uppsala. A once grand dame of a hotel that has aged as the room conditions are not elite, but the staff, breakfast, and location is unparalleled.

Central location and quiet

This is a lovely hotel, very friendly and helpful staff, great breakfast. The rooms are a little small, but there is lots of comfortable space available downstairs in the bar and breakfast room for relaxing. Excellent downtown location.

Location of this hotel is great! Thats the best part of this hotel. Hörnan needs on uplifting. Breakfast and rooms work well for short stays.

Beautiful location on the riverfront

Charming hotel with very good and quite location just by the river in central Uppsala. Nice staff. Breakfast could perhaps be a bigger, but most thing are there.

Very impressed by this property. Staff were all very helpful and friendly. The room view was amazing. All amenities we could ask for. We have special diet restrictions and during breakfast the staff was able to find extra food for us. Definitively above and beyond in many ways.

Great place to stay and their staff make you feel right at home. It is located centrally and walking distance to the main points of Uppsala.

The staff were friendly and helpful as we arrived after the restaurant closed, they were happy to recommend other places in town to eat. The hotel is in the centre so handy for visitors although sadly we were only there for a brief time

We managed to reserve one of the few parking spots at the hotel. The first bad news is: the driveway to the parking spaces is extremely narrow between two walls. We had maybe 10cm on each side to spare. But we managed. All parking spots are equipped with a 4kWh EV charger (not that fast but good enough to recharge over night). The chargers worked without a problem. The room was clean and had a comfy bed. It maybe lacked a bit of cloth storing and hanging space. The bathroom was tiny (as seen on the picture provided by the hotel). We managed, but it could be an issue. The night itself was quiet and we slept well. Breakfast was really good; in particular their scrambled eggs were amazing. You could also squeeze your own orange juice. Overall the selection was really good and they cared about food intolerances (gluten, lactose). We definitely consider staying here again.

location perfect, only rooms small, but in overall comfortable place

Nice location, for both university and train to airport. Front desk staff good on checkin and muesli Was very tasty at breakfast.

This is a lovely, historic property well maintained, well located with a great staff.

Great location right on the canal - lots of eating options nearby. Elegant old-style hotel - very quiet.

First the bad. The room had an awful smell. The staff tried to fix it but did not quite succeed during the two nights I stayed. There was also late night street noise, but that may just have been the muscle car convention happening when I was there. Now the good. Staff, breakfast, room (other than smell), location (other than the cars that ruined it).

Close to the city center and close to the train station. Very convienent and nicley decorated

Very friendly and helpfull stuff. There was a small space in the backyard, where I was allowed to park motorcycle for free. Superb location in the city center.

Rooms are smaller and in an older style compared to most. The location is perfect.
