Excellent hotel: well-kept, clean, friendly staff. Quite a few restaurants around, and some convenience stores. Only thing I didn't like was the dryer is not very strong; clothes did not fully dry and we had to take clothes to nearby coin laundry to fully dry it. I would be happy to stay here again if I return to Kyoto.

The hotel itself was very nice & spacious for a typical Japanese hotel. The staff were very courteous and helpful. This hotel is conveniently located within a 5 minute walk from the JR subway station so if you’re traveling to various site seeing areas, it’s easy to catch the subway or train. The only issue that we encounter were the beds. The beds were very uncomfortable. We stayed 4 nights at this hotel, and each morning, we woke up with a stiff neck and aching back. My next visit to Japan, I would choose a different hotel for this reason alone.

Its very clean, good spa, walkable to JR and subway and supermarket just around the corner.

The room is crazy small, which is common for Japan. What the problem? The bathroom has a thin glass door. If you want any privacy from a partner staying in the same room while you….use the restroom, that won’t happen. You need to be comfortable sharing EVERYTHING.

Guys, this hotel is crazy!! 3 star hotel but delivers 5 star service!!! Staff are very friendly and helpful. Location is awesome and quiet, not too touristy but only a few minutes walk from JR which you can access to many sightseeing place easily. this is certainly one the of best hotels i have ever stayed , if you stay there for a couple of nights you can tell they go out of their way to make extra effort. Dont forget to enjoy the bathhouse on top floor!! Thank you Nijo Urban Hotel!!!

So many restaurants and big supermarket close by. Staff was friendly. Clean hotel. The bathroom wasn't great since the door was glass but they had a curtain type thing to put as a cover. Big onsens on top floor was an added bonus!

コンパクトながらも机や鏡等使い勝手がいい、ベッドは広い、リーズナブル、清潔なお部屋です。二条駅からも近いですし、隣はコンビニ、歩いて5分以内にスーパーとドラッグストアもあります。千本旧二条のバス停が目の前にあって便利です。アメニティは最小限（例えば櫛やコットン等はなかったです、フロントにあるかも）。エアコンが古いお部屋でその風の臭いがひどかったのですが、すぐ別部屋をご用意くださいました。そこのエアコンはそこまで古くなかったので臭いは全く問題なかったです。

Terrible service. Staff told us breakfast is included with the coupon. And the next day the other staff said it’s not included. Not only do they speak poor English but they also did not seem to do anything about it. What kind of customer service is this ?

Excellent location to restaurants, subways, and trains—- all walking distance

It was unique because the bathroom has see-through glass doors. The breakfast has a widespread of traditional Japanese food.

Great location. Quite central. Close to many restaurants. Staff receptive to comments. Room had only one bed for 2 adults and a child. Staff changed our room to accommodate our needs and gave us complimentary breakfast.

I liked the location. Nijō Station is easy to get to from Kyoto and if you have a JR Rail pass fare is included. The room was small but comfortable. A big supermarket just down the street and a 7/11 next door made things easy.

Good location,close to JR line, a big supermarket and nice restaurants. The onsen in the hotel was lovely. The room was really nice apart from the glass door of the bathroom which left us with little privacy. We ended up putting a sheet over it. You could hear everything though. Breakfast was quite expensive so we ended up buying our own in the 7/11 beside the hotel.

Everything was great except their dryer wasn’t working well.so it took forever to dry out clothes But nice hotel stuff helped us :) so we are still happy that we picked this hotel ! We Recommend this hotel for family with kid too!
