The hotel itself is absolutely gorgeous, with a maze of floors and rooms, beautiful view and the layout and all is spectacular. Plenty of stairs, so be mindful with kids and older people (Luckily our parents got one of the top floor rooms and didn't have to climb all those flights of stairs. The pool was pretty cold and not very big, but it served its purpose and the children loved it. Beautiful, spacious bathrooms and very comfy rooms. We had minor issues with the internet connection. The staff wouldn't give us wifi password and demanded to type it on our devices in person and we noticed other customers at the reception were experiencing the same issue. It wasn't a biggie though. The only downside was when we asked for late check-out (the check out was at noon and we asked to stay until 3pm) and the receptionist wanted to charge us 100 EUR for an additional 3 hrs of stay!!!! This was a ridiculous experience.

Stunning hotel with amazing views surrounding the property and very chilled vibes. The rooms are lovely, a good size and give you a cave like experience. They are clean, the beds are comfortable and there are cute courtyards to chill in, outside your rooms. Spectacular views from the pool, it’s slightly small but it was very clean and perfect temperature. Breakfast was delicious, with a wide variety of options and a beautiful courtyard to eat it in. We didn’t eat in the restaurant but the views are stunning from the rooftop and we had some drinks there. A special shout-out to Eray and Ismail who went above and beyond to look after us during our stay. Great location, with very friendly locals and great souvenirs on offer demonstrating the area’s craftsmanship. The area is not very crowded and feels a more authentic Turkish experience.

Unfortunately the personal stuff on the reception was horrible. They were not helpful or kind. We asked them twice which time our shuttle will come on the next day for the transport to the airport and they have said the wrong time. We got confirmed the time even in handwritten form. Furthermore the stuff on the reception couldn’t speak English as well and they didn’t care if you tell them problems or concerns. The food in the restaurant was good and also the personal stuff in the restaurant was nice and very friendly. The hotel itself is nice and the rooms are pretty. Unfortunately the cleaning stuff forgot also the dirty cleaning sponge in the room which represents not really a good side in point of the workers and their motivation. Nevertheless, it would be for the hotel itself good to present educated stuff on the reception because it’s the first image from the hotel.

I will highly recommend this hotel to anyone. The staff are lovely, especially the Guest relations manager. I regret for not spending more days in Cappadocia and enjoy a bit more of the amazing comfort and service that the hotel has to offer. The infrastructure is well maintained and in good condition. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that our stay at the hotel was comfortable and enjoyable. The hotel is near to a few restaurants, ATM machines, and small shops. I will highly recommend booking a taxi with the hotel when planning to go to Urgup (around 5 minutes drive from the hotel) and other places.

Great place and great service. Everything was perfect!

1) I’ve never experienced a hotel stay at this price point that didn’t have air conditioning. Rooms use radiant heat for winter. In the middle of September, our room was apparently prepared for winter. Because the temperature in the room climbed through the night while the temperature outside went down. Without air conditioning to cool the room, it became miserable as the night went on. We were able to open the windows. But, the arid, calm climate made it difficult to cool so late into the early morning. 2) Our breakfast eating area was bombarded with flies. It greatly distracted from what was otherwise a typical, rich, self-service, Turkish breakfast. Both issues could easily have been addressed by the installation of fans. But, the property is built for aesthetics rather than comfort.

Not a great stay. We check in and were given a wrong type of room. We checked with them the next morning and they denied the mistake and then upgraded it. So if we would not have asked we would have been ignored. Bills not available on checkout and wrong items billed onto our room. Highly overpriced airport pickup. Lovely breakfast, very limited dinner menu. Good housekeeping service but leaking bathroom fittings.

My husband and I visited Exedra for 3 nights, in a pool room in the garden, it was so romantic and so perfect! It exceeded all of our expectations! We had the greatest time, it was quiet, beautiful and the service was incredible! We couldn’t decide where to spend our time because everywhere was so amazing, the room and all of the common areas. Every set of rooms has their own little area outside to enjoy which prevents crowding in one area like most hotels. The food was perfect, my husband is from Adana (which is known for their food) and even he was extremely impressed! Do not skip the breakfast!! We will DEFINITELY be staying again in the future!! I cannot say enough good things about Exedra, so If you’re considering this hotel just book it! You won’t be disappointed at all!

The service was very very very slow. It is far from Goreme and taxi drivers have some kind of sharing with hotel and they charge hefty amount. The staff is not well trained e.g I asked for a dental kit at 6.30 am called thrice after which one front at 8:00 am office guy told me that the dental kit is not available.

One of the most beautiful hotels weve ever stayed at. The rooms are large and clean. The design is stunning. Breakfast is incredible. Dinner was top notch. The view is expansive. The spa is gorgeous. The wine tasting room is awesome. The staff was attentive. I cant say enough good things…The hotel is brand new so there are still a few kinks. Examples: 1) The Turkish bath is amazing, but they asked for a 2-hour notice prior to use so they could get it ready. We gave a 3-hour notice, but even so it wasnt ready (sauna and steam room werent hot, etc.). They should ask for a 4-hour notice. 2) They dont yet have a good system to track payments between the restaurant and front desk.My only complaint is this: On our last day one of the staff arranged a taxi and she really wanted us to use a particular guy. He didnt show up for 50 minutes. We were told we’d still be able to see the two places we wanted to visit (we got a late start…), but this delay meant we had to miss one: the Ihlara Valley. The Ihlara was open for a few more hours, but the driver said it was “closing early” with no explanation. The kicker is that the Ihlara is far so the taxi rate was higher than normal, but since we never went there, the woman at the hotel called and said shed negotiate a lower rate. She and the driver hung up without setting a new rate and at the end of the day we had to pay the higher rate. It felt like a scam so that left a sour taste in our mouths.
