The facility and hospitality was great. However, the big room was terribly noisy. Some of them spoke in a loud voice in midnight.

My stay at Wake Up! Sydney was great! The facilities were easy to use and everyone was friendly. The staff was amazing, friendly, and supportive. David and Yuen in particular were terrific tour guides, enthusiastic and outgoing. They were always there to answer questions and help make Sydney a city that I want to come back to.

I never knew there was this type of lodging until i experienced this one. It is of great saving to lodge in an affordable property like this when the need for lodging is for transit to another state from a travel or even while living here. I will always return to lodge here if i find myself stranded during any travel to Sydney. Thank you for making life affordable for all. You need more advertisement around the Sydney Airport- a little flashy advert of the affordability and name can do for people who need quick stay-over solution to continue their journey another day.

Good location close to trains and light rail.

super central location. Also for me as oldie good place (most of the guests could be my kids ;-) ). But really bad is that I as a guest could not turn off or at least reduce the aircondition

Location is great however it is let down by parties by guests that continue to 2am, by no tea/coffee making facilities in our room, general untidiness outside the hotel and surrounds. The staff were very friendly and helpful. In my opinion this hotel should be advertised as accommodation for young singles and those under 40. It certainly seemed to suit them. As older guests we found it did not suit us as well as we would have liked.

Amazing hostel! Great location, amazing staff, nice and clean. Very social, easy to make friends. I extended my stay here twice because I liked it so much. Would recommend anyone to stay here.

The "sound proof" rooms were not sound proof which distributed my sleep due to noise coming from the night club in the basement

This hostel was super handy with its location right next to the station. I was so relieved to be just across the road when my train arrived into Sydney. Roy's Cafe was superb and the staff were incredible at their job, producing consistently high quality food and drinks with a smile on their face, even with an endless stream of customers. I wish there had been an option to tip via card, as I didn't have cash on me. The recommendations of what to do in Sydney provided by the hostel through a QR code were a life-saver for me and gave me some great ways to spend my time in the city. I did struggle to sleep because of very loud building works just outside my window, but there was nothing the hostel could do to change that situation whilst I was there, as there were no other rooms available for me to move into. Overall, I had a great time and would recommend!

Very average hostel. The staff was super kind, and really made us feel welcome.

As hostels go this is up there as one of the best ones I’ve stayed at. The location is the best part. It’s in Haymarket which is very central and a cool neighborhood with great food options. Across the street from Central Train Station. There are trams everywhere. I walked to the CBD without any issues. The facility is clean and well organized. The bunk beds are secured to the wall so if someone moves it doesn’t shake the whole thing. The staff was friendly and of course there’s the cafe and club right there. I never heard any noise at night from the club. Overall 4.5/5

Close to Rail

The property is close to Central Railway in Sydney - walking distance, even for older folks. The staff are exceptionally helpful.

As I was in town to review a show, we booked an overnight stay. We knew the accomodation offered was budget, and booked a private room with shared bathroom facilities. Our request for 'accomodation as high as possible' was met and we were accomodated on the 6th floor. Though basic the room was clean, comfortable, as were the bathroom facilities. As the property is situated very close to public transport, it suited our needs perfectly, offered excellent value, and we would have no hesitation in staying there again.

The convenient close proximity to Central Railway Station can't be beaten. Very clean and good value.

Nice hotel. Short walk to Airport. Nice area, with national park, and beach 10 minutes' walk. Despite being close to airport, it is very quiet. Neat small rooftop pool with views over the area. Quiet area with lots of food choices nearby.

This is a great hostel option. They have laundry, a good location to station, and offer tours and things. The staff is friendly and helpful. You will have a little noise, if that bothers you, they offer ear plugs.

Really good stay and got my moneys worth. The kitchen was really nice :)

Good for a sleepover from Canberra before continuing our journey north to Newcastle

This property is in a very convenient to Central Station. The only downside to this property is there was no ventilation in the room ( stayed in a triple room as a family). Also BYO pillow if you like a comfortable one.

The double ensuite was a suitable sized room but it didn’t have the appropriate amenities. A fridge in the room, nicer bed sheets, a bin besides the one in the bathroom, poor water pressure and inconvenient sized bathroom - no place to hang a towel or put clothes down to change.

Good overall, room different to booking

Exceptionally located. Staff were great. Good value for money. Some features need repair/ to be updated.

Staff ver helpful and friendly would definitely stay again.
