I was very happy with the room and the staff, which were fabulous. Unfortunately, on the 8th, around 10.30 PM, I got locked out when my keycard didn't work on the door. I tried to call the number provided several times, and didn't get through to anyone. I was very upset and started to panic. Luckily I wasn't travelling entirely solo this trip, and was able to stay with a friend in his hotel, which was uncomfortable because I was so upset. It was very stressful that there was no sort of emergency number to call, and I had no way to contact anyone. All my clothes and belongings were in the room too, so I had to sleep in my clothes. The next day, one of the staff replaced my keycard with a working one, and I was able to freshen up. Aside from this the air filter needs to be changed according to the climate control panel, so there was some dust in the air. I've emailed the hotel about the above a week ago, and didn't hear back. Even though when I was checking out, the very kind staff member said they'd send an email. This feedback should be easy to action to avoid similar experiences going forward. I'd suggest checking all filters for the rooms, and setting up an "out of hours" emergency number for when the bar is closed. If it weren't for these issues, my rating would have been a 5 star experience.

Had an amazing stay with Manzo’s, they were very hospitable and met our needs with the upmost care. The only issue was the taps, there was a leak in the tap but wasn’t much of an issue. Not a bad distance from Amsterdam city and very close to Zaandam station. Highly recommend staying here

Staff was very friendly and helpful! Would definitely like to stay here again for a future trip!

The only thing that happened that affects this review was that they forgot we would arrive late and didn’t leave us the key.

Great staff they were very nice and helpful. Great place to stay within walking distance to a lot of different amenities and fun to explore.

I do not like to write a poor review when the staff are friendly, polite and helpful. Room was clean. Bed was a foam/latex mattress that was firm and suited me well. No elevator. Very steep stairs to reception. No bellboy / porter. More stairs to the rooms. And I have arthritis. The hotel was very hard to find, very obscure entrance. And door is locked so we had to call and call and wait. Room is small. Hanging closet space less than 40 cm wide. No desk or table to work at. No furniture except the bed and a slim bench under the window. Morning of our departure no hot water in the middle of winter. Management had decided to turn off hot water during the night to save money. No room service. No food without leaving hotel. Fortunately the area has lots of restaurants, takeout and grocer, and outdoor market. So we did manage to live cheaply in Amsterdam. But would not repeat this.

I liked our room and the check in staff but I did not like that they had a super loud live band the last night of our stay and we all had early flights so we didn't get ANY sleep and nobody told us this was planned or we would have booked at another hotel closer to the airport that night. I also thought the curly haired owner/manager down in the restaurant was super rude. I brought them a LOT of business (I booked out the entire hotel for 3 nights) and she got upset that we brought a bottle of wine to celebrate (you'd think THEY would have offered me one as appreciation for so much business) and we even got permission to bring it in from our waiter, he said "no problem" and then she yelled at him in front of us and was also rude to us. NOT COOL OR PROFESSIONAL AT ALL OF HER. Overall, we had a nice stay but the things I mentioned should have not happened. They need to inform guests when booking if a loud band is coming and if you book out ALL the rooms, they should show appreciation by a bottle of wine or at least let us bring one and be nice about it.

I liked the Loft very much, but due to a lot of high stairs (with steps only, so gaps inbetween) it was impossible for my dog to move up. As well as for other people with babies and their stroller, it was a challenge. The staff did not offer alternatives. So not suitable for wheelchair or similar. Therefore medium. Room itself and location: very good!

This was a fab stay, the room was totally amazing. So spacious, and really enjoyed the sunken bath.

Lovely hotel bang in the middle of Zaandams lively little cafe square. Just off the High Street shopping area and 10 minute walk from train station which is only 2 stops from Amsterdam Central. Rooms are very modern and trendy and the cafe bar down stairs is always busy serving a good selection of food and drinks by a great team of helpful and engaging young staff.

The worst location to be a hotel. The hotel is located above the bar & resturant we could here the music playing until 4 in the morning. The hotel could not be reached by car we had to park our car a block or two and dragged our luggages passed all the way through the resturant full of custumers. The hotel has 10 rooms with no elevator we had to carried our own luggages the lobby which is on second floor with steep stairs and then to our room on third floor. It is the worst repeat worst location to be a hotel.

Friendly and helpful staff. The bar and restaurant area had a pleasant atmosphere. The rooms were great.

Amazing stay

Not many hotels are truly extraordinary, but Manzo's totally is. And Manzo's is one of a kind. Awesome design and color scheme, stone, metal, and wood interior- if you like nice spaces, Manzo's is a place you'll like. Totally underpriced luxury hotel. Easy to get to/from happenings within cool immediate neighborhood. A completely pleasant surprise and outstanding example of unexpected excellence. Great bed, hot shower, screen mirror big TV... Wow! With only ten rooms, Manzo's stands out as 1 in a billion hotel rooms on the planet.

This is a great hotel,with excellent rooms and friendly helpful staff. The hotel is in Zaandam about a 10 min walk to the train station so very covenant to the airport and Amsterdam trains.

A little lively and noisy until quite late! Good if you like late night entertainment.

The room itself was better than the pictures and our expectations! Staff were very friendly and made our stay top class. Couldn't have asked for anything more from our stay!

A wonderful hotel in the centre of zaandam, 5 minute walk from the station. Easy commute into Amsterdam. 😃
