The hotel is located on a quiet street yet all of central Merida is easily available by walking. The included breakfast is excellent with a changing daily extra in addition to always present fresh cut fruit, yogurt, granola, juice, breads, and coffee. Even a bean to cup Breville espresso machine. Staff are friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. Staff is definitely what puts this hotel above others I've stayed at in Merida. Common areas are beautiful, clean, and tranquil. Included breakfast is fresh, healthy, and delicious. Quickish walk to the center but in a quiet neighborhood. Small neighborhood park with good affordable market food available around the corner. Will definitely return to this hotel.

Likes: Clean room, friendly helpful front desk, wonderful breakfast, nice pool. Dislike: Booked the hotel then tried to arrange shuttle pickup at airport. I knew this service existed because I had seen the shuttle before. Because I booked through Expedia however, Zamna would not pick me up in their shuttle. I was going to cancel my Expedia booking and book directly through the hotel in order to get shuttle service but my booking was nonrefundable. I feel like the hotel website should be more clear about how to use the shuttle service or Expedia should include the service.

Beautiful family run hotel. Extremely friendly staff. Scrupulously clean. Lovely pool area to relax at after a hot day of sightseeing. I would not contemplate staying anywhere else in Merida should I return.

We stayed at the Hotel Zamna for a total of 10 nights and our stay was easy and enjoyable. Hotel Zamna is the perfect hotel for a stay in Merida, it is convenient to almost every place you want to go. We walked to most places we wanted to go. It is easy to get to the Plaza Grande, Parque Sta Lucia and just blocks away from Parque Santiago and the market there The service and staff are impeccable from the airport pick up and drop off to the housekeeping staff everyone is friendly and helpful. Breakfast is delicious, filing and changes everyday. They were able to happily accommodate our vegetarian diet. The front desk helped to answer any questions we had and even made arrangements for a doctor to make a house call. You would be hard pressed to find a better and more convenient hotel in a quiet neighborhood at this price range.

Excellent location only a few minutes walk to the center of town. Loved relaxing in the pool area and reading areas. Excellent care by the entire staff! Yummy yummy full breakfast too!! For all you coffee lovers….three choices of coffee types!

Zamna hotel is a cute boutique hotel with excellent staff and service. Unfortunately, their rooms leave a lot to be desired. The standard room has a tiny full size bed, I mean tiny. The beds are uncomfortable, the AC is difficult to regulate so you’re either freezing or hot, and the shower heads are very old. Overall, the serviceable and friendly staff made our stay okay, but it’s not a super comfortable hotel if you’re looking for a relaxing getaway.

This place was awesome, very friendly and helpful all the way through. The room was fantastic and the pool was spotless. The staff even helped us with getting to and from a venue we were attending.

Stayed in room 7. Very nice, but needs a new shower head. :) Listening to the waterfall was a nice touch. Breakfast was great too! Lucky find. Ony wish check in was sooner.

The Hotel Zamna was mixed: a nice facility, good rooms, attractive pool and spa walkable to many good restaurants and historic venues. But it was a little odd: the staff was nice, but often absent; the rooms were good, but strangely cleaned (bed made, but garbage not emptied, etc.). Breakfasts were really good - though only served after 8:30 (meaning it was hard to get going early).

Gorgeous hotel, charming colonial building, super well maintained, warm, nice people working there, beautiful and tasteful rooms. 10min walk to main square. Highly recommended, would definitely stay there again

Very serene outdoor area with pool, bar, hammocks, and quiet seating locations throughout. Filling breakfast is included with a fruit plate, eggs over toast with bacon, fresh orange juice and coffee, granola and an espresso machine.

The style, architecture and decor of the property are very nice. The room was large and the bed was very comfortable. A nice breakfast was included. The staff was friendly and helpful. Overall, great experience.

I cannot say enough good things about this hotel- from the moment we arrived to the day we left everything was exquisite. Beautiful gardens, rooms, daily breakfast. The owners are kind and assisted us with testing , information on tours, and general questions about the area. I will make this my go to place when I return

This is an excellent property, which is well maintained and very welcoming. The owners and staff are very accommodating and attentive. Breakfast was excellent and there was a complimentary ride to the airport. The location is also convenient and the nearby market is a great spot for trying comida yucateca. Recommended

Comfy, quiet, cozy, great pool, great breakfast. A small issue with flashing power outages a couple of times, but that was probably more of a city problem. Front desk attendants Jhoanna and the others were sweet and helpful. Loved it, will definitely stay again when I return.

We were so pleased to have found this hidden gem. Very good location within min 10 minutes of the Parcs areas. The rooms were spotless and a great breakfast. The reception staff were very friendly and gave us some good restaurant recommendations. The swimming pool and jacuzzi areas were set in the middle of a courtyard with places to sit and relax. Coffee and hot water was available free of charge all day and evening. We had an early start before breakfast on our last day and we found cereal, fruit and biscuits put in our room fridge So very thoughtful. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Very cozy small hotel. Nice not too small room with a spacious and modern bathroom. Good large bed. Nice having a minirefrigerator and a safety box in the room. The pool area is nice and cozy. The buffet breakfast was better than in any other hotel we stayed in our 14 days long journey in the Peninsula of Yucatán. Only bad thing I have to say is that one of the shutters of our room was broken and kept opening by itself. The location could have been a little closer to the city center but it is close enough to walk there, around 10-15 mins walk and we felt safe also when it got dark.
