Clean and comfortable. Bed was comfortable. Unfortunately we had to leave before breakfast was served. They did make us a packed lunch which was good.

This is a lovely small hotel, very clean, and had the sweetest people working there. Every one was so kind. I highly recommend it for solo travelers and couples. I didn't see any of the larger rooms, but breakfast was amazing, and it was quiet and clean. (They let us leave our bags locked up there as we arrived earlier than check-in, and wanted to tour the city).

Wonderful staff and very clean hotel.

Would definitely stay here again. Very convenient location that's not too far from the main city, and groceries/pharmacy is a short walk across the street if needed. The breakfast was a nice addition. Plenty of options to choose from, outside the typical scrambled eggs and bacon.

Once again my go to place to stay in Reykjavík. Nice rooms ranging from a tiny place to sleep to a large and roomy suite.

The staff tried very hard to make sure you have a good stay. The home made desserts were very good!

Great stay at Hotel Lotus. The only thing that would make it better would be the ability to lower the temperature in the room. From our understanding this is a function of the geo-thermal heat rather than the hotel. Great staff and superb breakfasts.

The staff was awesome. They were able to let my wife and I check in early (we flew in on a red eye from the US). We also had an issue with the room (skylight not working), that they fixed. Breakfast was delicious, place was roomy, bed was very comfortable and quiet. I would highly recommend

It’s easy walking distance to the bus. The staff is extremely friendly. The room was extremely clean and beautiful. I would highly recommend this place to anyone and everyone.

Highly recommend reserving the room with balcony over the standard room. We stayed here on two separate nights at the beginning and at the end of our trip and there is a huge difference in the rooms. The regular rooms are really small, as is the bathroom. You can make it work but the room with the balcony is a lot more functional for not much more. They are also in a much better location whereas the standard room can put you right at the entrance of the hotel which is a bit noisy. All that said, the location is fantastic for anyone with a rental car, the beds are comfortable, the breakfast is delicious and everything was very clean. We really enjoyed our stay here, both times, even in the smaller room.

Great beds, very good breakfast wonderful coffee machine. All of the ladies I interacted with were wonderful and I have zero complaints. I was also offered an early check in which was great due to the jet lag I appreciate them for allowing me this courtesy.

The owner was so helpful, so nice. The salmon at breakfast was crazy good. Really liked it.

Amazing hotel, clean, modern, spacious rooms, fantastic selection of continental breakfast. Self check in with door code and staff available for queries or help during the stay. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again :)

Super Comfy beds. Great staff. Clean rooms. Breakfast was awesome with a big spread. Would definitely recommend! Smaller parking lot but we found a spot easily. We were here during winter though with less tourist so not sure they were full. Just outside the main walkable city but perfect spot if you have a car :) My husband thought it was his favorite place in Iceland out of the 5 different spots we stayed.

Very happy with my stay here. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. I came into town on the Flybus and walked to Hotel Lotus from the BSI bus terminal (should have booked transport directly to hotel, or nearby, which was my fault). After walking with a large wheeled suitcase through slushy snow, I arrived at the hotel several hours before check in, hoping to at least have a place to just drop off my luggage. They were super accommodating and allowed me to take a rest in the breakfast area and even have a plate of food while my room was being cleaned, then came and got me when it was ready. I really appreciated them going the extra mile to accommodate and would definitely stay here again!

Easy check-in, rooms are small but very efficient.

Very nice hotel overall—the rooms were the most modern I’ve ever seen, the breakfast was delicious and had us excited to eat, the staff were accommodating, and the hotel itself is in a safe location. I would not hesitate to go back in the future!

Do not book this hotel. We booked 2 night stay and when we went to check in they sold the room to someone else. Ended up with no room and had to find a hotel last minute at night

It was difficult to get the room cool enough to sleep well. The room was small so it was tough to manage access to two suitcases. The beds were comfortable.

Room was a bit small but clean and space was well utilized. Facilities were well designed. Common area in the basement but with a garden walkout. Nice art. Good coffee. A few glitches with the front door but lovely accommodating staff and family that made everything right.

The staff was very welcoming and even allowed us to check in early and get breakfast when we arrived well before check-in time. The rooms were clean and comfortable. We loved the breakfast options. We will happily stay here whenever we are in Reykjavik!

Nice and clean and wonderful staff. The rooms are extremely small. Ok for a couple of days. Decent breakfast. outside of the city proper, so have to take a taxi to the old town. But price is also decent for such an expensive city. Over all we really liked it.

This was the best room we stayed in on our three week trip to different countries. We got a junior suite and it was huge! It was modern and so comfortable. Very pleased and shocked at the size and comfortable chairs and bed.

Stayed in 205 and 305. Very spaious including bathroom. Like firmness of bed and abundance of electrical outlets. Annoying master light switch setup as the bedside reading light cant be turned on by itself once turned on all lights go on too except bathroom yet bathroom light switch is on the other side away from the door. In 205 there’s a missing towel hook. In 305, rain got into the unit from the window. Tech said caused by roof problem.
