The hotel has a great location. Very convenient and easy to walk to the cathedral/Christmas market area. Staff was very nice. Parking is off site, so if you'd like to park, contact the hotel beforehand so you know where to go.

Perfectly adequate for an overnight stay

This hotel is in a great location right by the downtown area. You can call ahead of time to reserve outdoor parking 12€ close to hotel or there is a covered parking garage up the street for 16€. Hotel rooms are updated and cute. Breakfast was good and staff was very friendly. Highly recommend this hotel.

The location of the hotel was perfect for us, as it was central to the downtown shopping area, the university, and the tourist sites. Even the Lindt outlet store was an easy walk. The staff was willing to speak English or German and answered all of our questions. The breakfasts were typical German and we're one of very few hotels we've stayed at that served Westphalian Ham (we love it.) The next time were in Aachen, we will be staying here again.

The price is high compared to the services that you receive. There were no lift inside the hotel. There were no special facilities. and the breakfast was not special.

I booked to stay for one night as we were visiting the Aachen Christmas market. I chose the hotel because of the location and proximity to the market. I was slightly wary after reading reviews of the hotel however, I had nothing to worry about. We got a taxi to the hotel because we had heavy luggage however you can walk to the hotel, it takes about 15-20 minutes. A taxi from Aachen HBF was only 8 euros. The hotel is quite disguised from the outside but we found it ok. We buzzed the door and we were let in. You have to walk up some stairs to get to reception but then there is a lift from reception to the rooms. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. We went up to our room on the fourth floor. You do have to walk over an outdoor balcony to get to the rooms but it was fine. Our room was lovely and cosy. It was clean and tidy and we were very happy with it. The hotel is a two minute walk to the shops and the Christmas market. A great location! The breakfast was very yummy and there was lots of choice. The staff are so friendly and welcoming, it really made our stay special. I would highly recommend this hotel. We had a great nights sleep, a wonderful breakfast and a great stay!

This hotel is very cute and not real big, but the staff was very kind and helped us with getting around. It's near the bus stop and also near the center of town. We had an excellent complimentary breakfast. If you do not use the back entrance with the elevator, you will have to carry your luggage up a flight of stairs. The man at the desk carried our luggage up for us.

good location and very friendly peoples

Initially surprised that reception was closed during lunch till 130, thankful that the receptionist was still in the building. Convenient to center of town. Good value.

The location of the hotel is very close to downtown Aachen. The hotel staff was very friendly. and the room clean, spacious and very comfortable with a great shower and lots of storage space. I understand how the check-in/check-out time constraints can be an issue to some but with advance planning, the service windows should be adequate for most people. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this solid and practical hotel to others.

The hotel is clean and comfortable, with a nice breakfast buffet. The location is close enough to the city center, and also close to the Eurogress conference center. Strangely, though we were three people, the hotel was unable to provide more than one room key-card (apparently programming a second card invalidates the first one!). We booked through Expedia, but we were not on the check-in list when we arrived. Nevertheless, after some nervous telephone calls with management, the hotel was able to accommodate us in a suitable room, and we enjoyed our stay.
