This place had an awful smell of rotten eggs. I got a headache just from being there. The smell of the bathroom water was sickening. The place was filled with stains not very well kept, overpriced. The bathroom had mold everywhere. Absolutely disgusting place to stay.

Having a itchenette, washer and dryer are a real benefit while staying in the city. Great location.

Great location and responsive property owners. They responded to calls timely. Very clean and with basic needs stocked and ready at check in.

Very happy with the apartment. Everything as described. A bit smaller than the pictures but that was fine. Only thing that could improve it, it’s to have two copies of the keys provided, or another way to get into the apartment as I was always worried of losing/misplacing the one key provided.

The property is easy to find and within steps of the bus stop, which is key for weary travelers hauling luggage in the snow/cold and famous Reykjavik wind ;)!
Our apartment was clean, sofa bed pulled out and made up, and access instructions very clear. Def 5* on communication.
Location is also prime along Laugevegur, the shopping district. Pedestrian traffic only in this section, and parking - if you rent a car - is less than a block away. The 10/11 grocery is almost directly across the street and was open 24/7 during the Christmas holiday. Much appreciated when many other things were closed since we had access to food and drinks. There’s also a Bæjarin’s Beztu Pylsur stand there to eat the world’s best hot dog, but do note it has separate operating hours.
Loved having a washer and dryer in unit because we pack mostly carry on luggage. Meaning there may be a need to launder essentials. And the apartment supplied us with enough detergent to do two loads.
Ideal and would book again without hesitation.

This apartment and building were very nice. We would stay again. Street was under construction but there was no noise. We were very comfortable.

Property was excellent. Leaky bathroom sink faucet should be looked at. We wrapped a towel around the base of faucet and kept squeezing out the water. (Apartment 402). Cleaning people prepared our apartment early. Thank you. Diane

The apartment was central and perfect for our use except that there was no instructions for any of the appliances. It took us quite a while to work out how to use each appliance.

Perfect apartment for me, my mother and my daughter! We loved the location - right next to the main bus station and awesome food hall, and on the main shopping street Laugavegur. We stayed here at the end of our week in Iceland, and appreciated having a washer and dryer to wash all of our clothes before our flight home. The apartment is well-appointed with a balcony and a view of the water.

We had 5 people. Got clear instructions how to access apartment and parking information.
Plenty of space for people and stuff in the apartment. Was cleaned 2 during our 6 day stay. Fresh towels and coffee. Lots of stuff in the kitchen.
Minus part- teapot had problems boiling, had to tape button to stay. Sink in the bathroom draining slowly.
Otherwise it was much better then expected for the price in Reykjavik.

location is perfect, bus stop is literally right downstairs. the house is nicely decorated too. however the room is a bit old already and different from the pictures shown. more importantly, as there is no receiption or info desk, you wont be able to keep your luggage anywhere after u check out on the last day.

The location was absolutely fantastic! It was easy to check in as the owner had messenged us a few days before we arrived. It was really well equipped and looked after and the perfect place to stay. We couldn’t recommend it enough! 100% would stay here again!

We had a fantastic 4 days in Iceland and this was enhanced by the location and comfort of the apartment. There was everything we needed on hand - even though we did eat out a lot but reduced costs by having breakfast in the apartment and one night had take away noodles from a shop just underneath - they were very good!! Definitely would recommend to friends to stay here and the only part I found stressful was waiting for instructions for entering the apartment, which didnt come until the night before our flight. Everything else was perfect and we will definitely be coming back to Reykjavik

The property was far more than we expected. The apartment was very clean and well decorated. Could not ask for a better location with bars and restaurants close by and a bus station out front.

Loved the apartment but did not like the fact that there was no parking available for the apartment. You either pay to park on the street from 9 am to 6pm which is expensive, Park in a lot or park several blocks away on the street where there is not a charge. Also the bedroom and bathroom needs better privacy curtains. Other than that it was a lovely apartment with a balcony with a table and chairs. Location was easy walking distance to restaurants and Bonus supermarket which has nice selection of food plus good prices if you want to prepare meals. We would probably stay here again.

However, the management wouldn’t send checkin instructions until 2 days before arrival (which was difficult to get since I have no WiFi while traveling in Iceland). Then, the checkin instructions went to my junk mail and when I tried to contact manager to have them resend them them to me, I got no reply. Also, the unit states it has washer and dryer, but there is No dryer.

No “front desk” so booked through Expedia and confirmation email evidently stated “call prior to arrival for check in instructions”. Called all afternoon on day of check in no answer. Had to leave due to being in the sidewalk in the rain with family and 8 pieces of luggage. Found another hotel down the street. 5 minutes after check in there I get a text from other property manager stating an email was sent 2 days prior. I’m off the grid in Iceland!!! Didn’t see it. But come on answer your phone. Won’t refund any of my money. If you are going to rent apartments then there should be reliable contact ability during normal hours...Expedia reservation manager completely unhelpful

This apartment is ideally situated in Reykjavik, tour buses pick up right in front at bus stop 10. You are very close to shops, pubs and restaurants. The room was very nice with great security, beds were comfy and there was plenty of utensils in the kitchen.

We were given instructions by email about how to get in, which was great. We had trouble finding the place because its a single glass door with a plain piece of paper in the window. Our only problem was that a circuit had flipped, which we didnt recognize for a while.There was a washing machine, but no dryer. The location is really nice.

Overall, the apartment was nice. They only left 2 towels and 2 wash clothes for four people for three days which was crazy. I had to track them down and get more on the second day when they were there to clean the apartment! The WiFi kept going off, also! Other people in another rental reported the same types of problems!! There was an elevator, which was nice since we were on the 4th floor!!! The shower plugged up and we had to fix it by removing the trap from the floor! Aside from all that stuff and the facthat it was way way overpriced! We paid over $750 for two nights!!!! Yikes!!!
