Lovely place, food is really good, staff are friendly. Rooms are clean. We stayed when it was 30c outside, so was very warm (there is a fan in the room, which helped). Other than that was very good.

Very nice room, liked the decor, shower and features. Also the espresso machine and all equipment were of high quality.

We parked in the car park at the back which said Chequers, but found out from the staff that it was staff only. There were no details on the website about parking that we could find. Were told we would get a ticket if we stayed there. Suggest it is made clear on the website and that the signs in the car park say staff only.

Lovely Hotel. Great stay in a lovely town

Beautiful, boutique style hotel in the quaint town of Marlow. Can’t say enough about this place. Great location, bar and staff. Rooms are comfy and the staff are very helpful and accommodating. I highly recommend.

The Hotel is ideally placed for exploring Marlow and the surrounding area it has a good feel with only a small number of rooms it feels like it has a more personal touch therefore

We were checked in quickly on arrival and found the room to be very clean and comfortable. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was large with a large shower.

Another enjoyable stay at the Chequers . Very well located in Marlow , rooms comfortable , very good showers and toiletries . Good breakfast . Would stay there again

Really good place to stay right in the heart of Marlow. Plenty of public car parks available within a short walking distance of the pub. Nice comfortable rooms with tea and coffee facilities. ( Nespresso machine made a nice coffee) Staff friendly and helpful. Have stayed before and would definitely stay again. Marlow is such a wonderful place too.

Great central place to stay in Marlow - staff helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good and service excellent. Remember it is working pub so it will have clients in the evening. If you are an early bird and wants to be in bed by 10pm not recommended. We had a great sleep and would stay again.

The Chequers Marlow was in a perfect location, just what we were looking for. We had a drink in the Hotel bar but didn’t eat there, instead we chose to dine at The Coach up the road, one of Tom Kerridge’s many establishments in Marlow (all worth a visit) which was Amazing, highly recommend. Marlow it’s self is beautiful and The Chequers doesn’t disappoint, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Over all fanastic

The kitchen extraction fans are extremely loud below some of the bedrooms to the point where they almost vibrate the entire room. In addition the rooms have very loud showers which can be heard in neighbouring rooms. I would strongly advise the hotel to inform guests of these discomforts ahead of booking. Room six is definitely the worst. In addition the bathroom has a heavy amount of mould on the ceiling and walls. You can't fault the location for if you're looking for a good night sleep I would recommend paying for the suite or staying somewhere else

A fabulous place to stay. Such friendly staff. We were greeted warmly on arrival and vey well looked after.

What a perfect romantic place in a very charming town. Everyone was so kind. We had a delightful time. Rooms were thoughtfully laid out and the pub downstairs simply delicious. We plan on coming back in March.

Considering the price this just a pub with all that entailes.

Really noisy at night, the air conditioning unit from downstairs was so loud and kept me awake most of the night. Room decorated beautifully and great location just don’t know whether the sleepless night was worth it

We very much enjoyed our recent overnight stay at the Chequers Marlow. The rooms were very comfortable and the staff were super hospitable. The weather was very rainy so we spent most of our time in the pub - such a great place to be. The evening meal was amazing - there was plenty of choice and what we received was beautifully plated and above all delicious. Thanks for the experience.

Lovely establishment in a great location and easy parking close by. Rooms are comfortable and nice decor, although our room was a little too hot at night. Would highly recommend.

The room itself was nice, with a decent shower and nice toiletries. The bed was comfortable but if you are going to advertise a double bed, have a double matress and not two singles. The big dip in the middle was a pain. We had a room a the back and there was a lot of noise from the room next door (when they had a shower or something at 11pm) and the walls are clearly quite thin. There was an air conditioning unit in the room which was very noisy. At 7am a generator in the pub turned on and was very loud, waking both of us up. The pub itself is nice, staff were good and food was nice.

Great accommodation, the pub is in the centre of the village so expect some noise if you stay - we were absolutely fine with that as we loved the atmosphere!

Booked last minute whilst visiting Henley regatta. Everywhere full or ridiculous prices. My expectation was quite low for a high street pub. However, the chequers was absolutely great. Large bedroom and bathroom. Nicely decorated. Nice products. Bottled water each day. Very comfortable bed. Check-in/out was slick and friendly. Our room was overlooking the high street so we closed the windows in case of noise first night. As a result the room was very hot despite good fans. Second night we left the windows open and it was perfect. There was actually very little street noise. It was a little overpriced but considering it was Henley week it was excellent value. I would not hesitate to stay there again.

What a lovely quintessential hotel/pub in the centre of Marlow, beautiful querky room, not generically modern which seems to be taking over these days, very clean and comfortable, staff were lovely and accomodating, overall would highly recommend for a weekend break, good value for money in the area

Beauitful Rooms excellent location helpful staff

Excellent location and amazing staff-very unlucky to have live bands performing on both nights we stayed there.We we’re notified about the one on the Friday evening but the Thursday evening one was an unpleasant surprise.

Lovely room and service. It would have been good to know about a band playing in the pub downstairs beforehand as it was extremely loud until 11pm. Advance warning would have allowed us to plan our stay factoring this in or find somewhere alternative to stay.

The Chequers is obviously a very popular pub so it is nice to record that the room accommodation is quite insulated from any bar noise. We travelled by rail to Marlow so the short walk to the pub was a welcome bonus. The staff were without exception extremely polite and attentive. Congrats !

We stayed for one night in room 6. Big, spacious room, my only complaint, we didnt have a working shaving point or usb charging point. The bed was very comfy and the hotel is situated in the heart of Marlow, close to everything.

A comfortable stay. The staff were great, helpful and accommodating at all times. Noise levels were as expected for pub accommodations. The morning breakfast was very good and we recommend the Chequers Marlow for your stay.
