Be careful with your valuables. Don't trust the safes! I was in my room undressed when a man opened my door without any knock or warning! (It had just been cleaned and there was no reason for anyone to come in.) He closed the door quickly without apologizing!
I told the staff and there's a camera right out side my door and they did nothing. The next day I went to convert my US dollars to pescos and realized someone had made colored copies of hundred dollar bills and switched them for mine! They also took other valuables after reviewing everything I had. I confronted the front desk again to no avail!

Good location, near to restaurants, convenience stores and beaches.
Hotel has private parking and pool. Nice view to the sea from the terrace.
Excellent service from Guillermo, Luis and Rafael.
Room was cleaned.
To improve: coffee. I would add a coffee vending machine for all guest in the lobby. This way we can prepare it ourselves, and have it hot and fresh.

Has issues with water pressure and key cards, be careful if you book the biggest room they still charge you per person

The staff was amazing and very helpful, and the room was cleaned every day, and given fresh towels. Its located at the end of 5ta avenida but they are great eating spots around mini supermarkets and pharmacy everything you need,if you want to go to the center you have to take a taxi which they order for you or if you have a rental you can drive there it’s about 6-10 mins

For starters, we booked on Expedia and didn’t get the room we paid for. The hotel passed the buck to Expedia who didn’t help us. Buyer beware Grand 50 has a no cancellation fee, you will lose all your money.They gave us a room below the generator which cuts in all night and is extremely loud, we had to sleep with earplugs and basically had terrible sleeps. Any rooms on the back side of the hotel you will listen to this noise all day and all night. They decided it was a good idea to sand the wood around the pool therefore 3 days with no use of the pool.
I awoke with several bites which were consistent with bed bug bites. We travel consistently for 6 months during the winter, by far the worst experience we have had. Wish I could add photos etc as I taped the noise so other potential customers could hear it.
If you like your sleep and value your money this is not the place for you.

Property management were very strict didnt allow my son to enter room for visiting suppost to visit only in Lobby....
Consttuction all around property and neighbourhood around doesnt look safe as a lot of homeless people around neighbourhood.

Close to a great beach. Right off 5th Ave.
I especially appreciate the tea & coffee station in the fabulous Lobby.

The construction in the area is very noisy and unpleasent loud noise starts at 7am

Everything was good The location, and the room was nicely laid out but we had construction outside our window a jackhammer going at 9:00 a.m. in the morning sometimes all day. And the pool was a little cold for some reason. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. They offered to change our room but we decided to keep it since we were out most of the day.

very large rooms that are more like an apartment - has a kitchen space, a walk-in closet and a living room area + balcony. good energy place. the only downside is that there is construction going on in the area so during the day you will hear that noise. quiet at night, with no bars nearby. close to the beach. I will return next time in Playa.

Overall a great place to stay just off of fifth Avenue, the room was clean and relatively quiet. There was a considerable amount of construction across the street during the day but wasn’t very noticeable for the most part. I really liked having a kitchenette just a short walk to the grocery store and theOcean view pool on the rooftop was nice as well

Room was decent, bathroom was terrible, shower head not working. My daughter took a shower and water flew everywhere. Pool area is nice, staff was pretty good, close to the Main Street.

We loved our stay at this hotel. This place is at great location which is right on 5th Ave and walking distance from the beach. Hotel has a kitchen which is great for families with food restrictions or likes to cook. Rooftop pool gives an amazing ocean view. Though most things were great we had sight inconvenience with the water supply in the morning and wifi connection. One day we woke up with no water for 2 hrs but other days water flow was slow in the morning which makes difficult to take shower. You to have call the reception every morning for the water. They do some point fix which restores the flow but need to call them. Internet connection was generally very slow.

The stay was nice. Just to sleep, room was big and comfortable. It will be nice for a long stay. The only thing I didn’t like was that the Check in was a little bit slow.

Superior property. Super pleasant experience. Clean and modern and spacious accommodations. The roof top pool and patio are phenomenal. Very quiet, in a perfect area of town away from the pumping night club scene. Parking onsite and front staff were incredible and met every need and expectation. Also 1 block from the best local eatery in playa called “TROPICAL TACO” we ate there 5 of the 10 nights in playa. Incredible CUSINE and fair price!!

Room was spacious and comfortable with a functional kitchenette. The staff was an absolute dream! Super friendly and accommodating. Location was perfect as well. Quiet, but within short walking distance to many amazing restraunts, shopping, and pristine beach. Rooftop pool was also gorgeous and clean. Will be booking here again in the future.

This place was so perfect for our stay. It was like home away from home. Very clean, convenient, friendly staff, and close by to everything (beach included). The pool was clean, the rooms are spacious, all needed kitchenware are available. I am definitely staying there again
