Perfect location for hanging out in Boothbay for a couple of days. Step out the front door and you are a few houses from all the shops. Easy to get on a tour boat and restaurants were great!!! Breakfast like all of the other reviews was amazing and worth the stay. Quiet and relaxing!

In the heart of Boothbay Harbor. Jo made an incredible breakfast every morning, and was AWESOME with my wife's allergies. It's a B&B, so its an old building, but had everything we needed!

We were so happy to have found this gem right on Commercial Street with a view of the bay from our room. There is a dedicated parking lot behind the inn with restaurants and shops so close that we were able to just walk everywhere downtown. Our room had a separate entrance so we could walk out to sit on the pretty porch whenever we wanted. The room was lovely with a comfortable bed and even a little refridgerator. The bathroom was small, understandable for a large old home; however, it could have stood a little sprucing up. The breakfast was amazing. The stay here was worth it just for that alone! And making our it even nicer was the friendly, helpful staff. We're definitely coming again. Save us the Stephen Tabor room!

I realize this is and old house that was converted into a B&B and it did have a certain charm to it. The room however was extremely small and hard to get around. The shower was tiny and hard to get around in. The Innkeeper was a very nice and accommodating lady. She was also a very good cook and the breakfasts were very good. The location was excellent and well within walking distance of everything in town.

It was well located in the center of the town. Breakfast was very good. The room was small, but it was advertised as such. The #1 restaurant in the town was located adjacent to the property. Tour and sail boats were located within easy walking distance. It is an interesting and unique town to visit.

Captain Sawyers B&B is the best location on the bay. View of the water and easy walk through town. We really enjoyed upper and lower porch for reading and fresh air, with or without sun. Lovely breakfast. Walked to dinner at Ports of Italy and Coastal Prime. Great visit.

We visited with friends in BoothBay and have stayed here before, Jo the owner as always made us feel welcome and at home. Breakfast was included and delicious every morning, with fresh pressed juice, coffee, fresh fruit, homemade blueberry pancakes and pastries. There's lots to do in town, walking from the front steps to the shops, boat trips and we visited the beautiful Botanical Gardens nearby. No matter what time of season, visiting the area is always a great trip!

Jo and her staff were amazing, the breakfast was wonderful and just the right amount for the start of our day. The bed was comfortable but the pillows lacked support. I loved having our own a/c unit which allowed me to keep the room as cold as I liked. The location was fantastic.

This beautiful old sea captain's home was the perfect location for our getaway. It's within walking distance to everything! The house is almost as warm and welcoming as the host, Jo. Would highly recommend this B&B.

I love history and the uniqueness of this property. Seeing Captain Sawyer sitting atop the hill, on the front porch, overlooking the spectacular harbor would have been quite a sight to see! Jo, the innkeeper provided a wonderful breakfast each morning. The blueberry pancakes were delicious! Our room was toward the front of the Inn and gave us a peek of the harbor. The bed and linens were great. We also had a private bath with shower. The Inn is very walkable to shops and dining in BoothBay Harbor. If you are wanting to cruise the Harbor, you can walk across the street and hop on. Parking is very tight at the Inn. Checkin and checkout was contactless and easy. Jo, was available and communicated promptly. Thank you for sharing this historical property with us.

We stayed at Captain Sawyers B&B for 4 nights. In addition to this B&B having a great location in the heart of Boothbay Harbor, the owner Jo serves up an excellent breakfast which includes her homemade blueberry pancakes. She also serves cocktails on the front porch in the evening.

Our stay was exceptionally nice. Jo gave us excellent suggestions for things to do in the area, which all proved to be great. The breakfasts that Jo prepared were amazing! We highly recommend this lovely and well cared for bed and breakfast. We came away rested and relaxed! We highly recommend this B&B especially during the weekdays!
