Unbeatable location and great staff! The B&B is homey and very pleasant. The street, Via San Vitale, is lively and fun, yet the room is completely quiet. 051 Boutique is right in the middle of everything, and the staff will help you find whatever you're looking for.

Very centrally located. Minutes' walk to major attactions and right next to the twin towers but quiet enough. The staff is very good and the room clean and very functional. I can't find any refrigerator in the room. The only one more noticeable problem is that during the time of my stay, a delivery truck started their deliveries at around 0630 and lasted until over 7. It created a bit of noise that may affect some people.

Well recevied and treated by the staff and the attention to detail was greatly appreciated.

The hotel has a very private atmosphere what we really estimated. It was very clean and quiet. Perfect for us. The only what could be better is the breakfast what was every day just simple and always excactely the same.

If location is your main concern this is perfect. Every possible thing you might want to see the historic center of Bologna is within easy walking distance. Also the size of a typical hotel room and the bed and bathroom facilities were fine. However, I got a cold shower every time. I asked the staff to fix this and they said let’s go in your room I ran the faucet and the water was hot for them. Then I jumped in the shower and halfway through it turned ice cold. I don’t know why maybe somebody else is there hot water and their system is just insufficient. The hair rose on my back, but what could I do? I finished my ice, cold shower that day, and every other day I was in the facility four days total. There was a good safe in the room, a well sized closet, comfortable bed, but no refrigerator.

The two tower palazzo near 051 are in repair (and will be for years). This creates a problem for car service and foot traffic that cause crowds, dirt, and noise. Additionally, the location was VERY difficult to find and the streets/numbers are not well marked. The room was clean and beautiful, however, located in the back of the building where its windows open onto a shared-rooftop (not for a woman traveling solo). The best part was the staff! Kind and willing to go the distance to be of service.

Excellent breakfast with freshly baked croissants, Nespresso coffee in the breakfast area. The room is in a luxury flat, in the historic center, with shops and restaurants within walking distance. There can be significant commercial street noise both from delivery trucks and from waste collection.

We stayed in this cute hotel in Bologna on a whim, just one night on our way through. We were very tired from a long day of travel and were met by a lovely receptionist who showed us all the details of the hotel, breakfast, locks, snacks and so on. We were brought up to her "favorite" room, which turned out to be a beautiful, suite-like room with a wonderfully comfortable bed, a cute view of the roof-tops of Bologna, and very sound-proof, good doors and walls. The room was beautifully furnished and the bathroom was gorgeous. All in all 10 out of 10!

The property is pretty but there was not much of an atmosphere & at breakfast time it was too silent in the eating area, not much of a selection for breakfast. It is a convenient loation which was the main reason for booking this stay.

I have mixed feelings about this place. It was centrally located and had a whimsical reception area with books and teacups suspended from the ceiling in a warm atmosphere. The breakfast was good and even had a couple gluten free items. But our room down the hall was really damp feeling and my mold allergies were starting to kick in. I'm glad we only spent one night there because it would have been a big problem.

The B&B was attractive. People were very nice. Breakfast was good. Only negative was the tiny room. But who spends time in their room? The location was excellent.

The hospitality by property was outstanding. They welcomed us with open arms. The only negative is the noise on the street at night but that is everywhere in Bologna. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Thank you to the team for making our stay so special.

So many wonderful things to say about this b&b! The location - Steps from everything! The room - Lovely and comfortable. The staff - Very friendly and welcoming (have to mention the amazing communication with the b&b which began before our stay when they reached out via wattsapp with instructions and tips on parking etc.) A big thank you to them also for finding our passports in the room safe and messaging us straight away yo say they had them safely tucked away for us. Verry nice little B&B in the city centre. The staff was kind and very helpful. We would definitely recommend.

The 051 apartments are a boutique style grouping of 4-5 quiet rooms in what was a large city apartment with a shared breakfast area. About the most convenient location you could ask for to main city attractions steps away and more convenient than most hotels in the area. Air conditioning worked well. Self serve Breakfast was very good and enough to satisfy most. Laura the front desk specialist was extremely helpful and attentive with directions and suggestions. Reminder that this is not a full service hotel, but who needs that when this is so charming and convenient.

The location is great. You are right in the city center. Property condition and cleanliness weren't the best, it needed maintenance. The room was not sound proof, and we could hear the people in the hallway and in the next room. The breakfast was weak, too little options. You also need to fill in forms and answer some messages before arriving to property, which we found a little cumbersome.

I am so glad I decided to stay here for two nights! I had considered staying near the train station for convenience, but it was so worth the extra cost to stay right in the heart of Bologna. You could easily walk to all parts of the historic center / market area within minutes and it is very close to the bus lines. The room was very comfortable and they had a good breakfast variety. The staff were super friendly and helpful. In fact, I panicked because I was running late for check in due to extreme rain and a total lack of taxis at the train station. One of the staff helped me via WhatsApp figure out the bus to take and which stop to get off so I could get to the property. She was very patient and kind even though I got there about 10 minutes past the end of check in. As I was checking out, I didn’t have much time to eat breakfast, so a different staff member packed me a little to-go bag. I was really impressed with their personal attention and their efforts to go above and beyond to make my time in Bologna enjoyable. I highly recommend!

We were only here for 1 night but the staff was very helpful to answer our questions. The common area is very comfortable for having a coffee or making tea. Location is great for convenience but we stayed on a Sat night, so the noise level was fairly high.

Never stayed in a B&B and was surprised they really accommodated us for our long stay. Great location and with buses right in front also really ease to get to the train station.

Great location and lovely room

We were only in Bologna for a single night, so wanted somewhere central. The bed and breakfast was easy to find with the directions provided and was really lovely inside. The decor was great and the rooms comfortable with everything we needed. We had breakfast in the morning which was also excellent. The team were really helpful, both in advance of our stay, allowing us to arrive a little early to leave our bags, and similarly when we left. I would highly recommend.

Excessive noise at night. No soundproofing at all in the room. Room doors with insecure locks and no electronic system at all. Drunk guys hitting the building’s main entrance door and shouting at midnight (but without soundproofing the sound was like happening in your room) Breakfast was well below expectations. Did an early checkout after the first night since on the floor above a guy was playing video games and watching the news till 2am and the noise was too much to sleep. After being reassured a refund would be issued, they changed their mind since they didn’t want to lose the money. The definition of a terrible place to stay. Google reviews from 5 years ago indicate the same noise issue but they seem to not care to fix anything. Pretty terrible experience.

Nice property very close to the centre of town, only 70m from Due Torre. In a side road so nice and quiet. The ladies who run it are delightful, really friendly, happy and helpful. W loved our stay here and hope to return sometime soon

This place is a fun hotel with lovely, friendly staff. The decoration in the main area is very cool and the room was good sized so nice for afternoon 'siesta' as it was 40C while we were there. Breakfast is nice and varied (although a little too much on the sweet side). The location is brilliant - very close to shops, sights and restaurants (which they recommended and all were excellent). Definitely consider 051 if you're in Bologna!

The service at this little B&B is absolutely amazing. Attentive, friendly staff. The common area is lovely and loaded with tea, coffee, and sweet snacks available through the day. The location is perfect.

The staff are the nicest and most patient people we have experienced travel all over the world. They went out of their way to make sure we are taken care of. Not only they provided us a parking space in the old town, but when i was worried i could not find it after checking google map, they sent 2 person there to wait for me and even parked the car for me as I am not good at parking in small space that js typical in Europe. The hotel is in the old town and there is an elevator for our luggage. The room is nice and the bathroom is big. We are very happy.

What a beautiful and charming place to stay in Bologna! Very artfully decorated with special touches such as your own breakfast and tea table, always available sweets and coffee, and a friendly staff that caters to your every need. Our room was well appointed and very comfortable. A boutique hotel experience in every sense!! We could not thank Camilla, Jessica, and Baddy enough for their kindness and attention to every detail. What a happy place to stay in the center of Bologna, steps from all that you need to see, do and eat!!
