we were supposed to get a non smoking room and it wasnt it smell like a smoke out was in there !!!!!! and it didnt look like the picture they show of rooms

It's very old, outdated, and dirty. There was a big gap all around the door, which I could see outside. The door barely latched, and i didn't feel safe there. Needless to say, I didn't stay.

Don't stay here and this should be removed as a option from Expedia. Unable to block the view to inside room from front window since there was a curtain missing. Homeless sitting outside and the building needs to be renovated. Had someone looking through the window and asking for someone named 'Bobby'. Very disappointed with this stay and hope to prevent someone else from learning this the hard way.

The room was dirty and and in disrepair. The toilet was clogged when I arrived. The bedding didn’t feel very clean. The images online of the room looked nothing like the room I was given. I didn’t feel very safe about the location either.

When we checked I had to pay in cash because the transaction with. Hotel. Com was pending and so they said the room was not paid for . The room we were given had no TV no phone and the toilet wouldn't flush. The fridge didn't work and the management were so rude and not helpful.

First, they didnt have my reservation. The property was in the middle of renovations, everything was in a mess. The air conditioner was half way hanging out the second story window. They was a pile of debris in our room when we got there. Very disappointing to say the least. I want my money back!!!!!

The web site advertised that 'for a fee you can schedule an early check-in'. When I asked about this, the desk clerk was not aware of any such service. I consider this false advertisement. Maybe the fault lies with Expedia. I am not happy with Expedia sending me a text in the middle of the night and waking me up.

I guess I booked this property accidentally and wasn't paying attention but you get what you pay for. The room was clean air conditioners worked wonderful but you could use some upgrades. The tenants in the other rooms were sketchy. No amenities the outside could use some cleaning

Asked for a non-smoking room & the room was impregnated with the smell of smoke. There was an ashtray & cigarette ashes. Low lighting made it scary. Men were sitting in the dark stairwells as we were entering our room. Will find other accommodations.

Not very satisfied! The cleanliness of the room was terrible. The TV had no signal and it was about a 20 year old CRT TV. I reported the problem of the TV and the bathroom sink drain was stopped up to the front desk. Nothing was done. I reported the problems again to the front desk after diagnosing the TV problem (ripped cable). Finally problems were resolved the day before I left. My stay was for 1 week. Also, Bed was about to fall apart. Very noisy. Aweful experience.

Kinda a cute niche complex like a run down threes company feel but booking online made the cracktastic demeanor fall off and hide the fact the pool was 90% drained and brackish waters finished off the look it was for shure a disappointment to my 9 year old non refundable kept us from relocating there was no remote to the 80's box tv and an industrial generator running outside of the room we inhabited

Loud patrons at late hours, including a couple of drunk guys loudly arguing and cursing in Spanish on the sidewalk below the room, they almost got into a fist fight. A couple shady characters hanging out on balconies scoping people out. Pool was green with algae and couldn't see the bottom.

I booked 2 rooms at this place and didn't realize that they needed to pay when they got there. So they called me and the woman (who was VERY rude) wouldn't let me pay over the phone. So we transferred the money to one of our guys cash app account. He went back in to pay and she told him that he couldn't pay for both rooms - that each person had to pay for their own. At that point the guys had had enough and we chose to go to a different hotel.

Very clean and the bed was comfortable. Just wish the pillows were a little more fluffy. But other then that San Angelo Lodge is a great place to stay.

The staff was friendly but, you get what you pay for-the room had an odd smell, there was urine on the toilet seat, the sheets were very stained, and my daughter said she was scared to fall asleep

The property was to close to the rodeo, but the room floor was gritty and the facility as a whole seemed dirty. I spoke to the staff and asked for it to be cleaned and freshened up while I was out. I was assured that they would “take care of it.” They did not

The main problem was the room smelt like death there was gum literally on the box tv started itching as I layed on the bed literally left 20 min after febreeze didn’t. Work
