The overall hotel was nice however the area surrounding it made me and my friends feel extremely unsafe

The front desk is super helpful. The lady Christina (?) allowed us to checked in early after she found there was a room available-which was super important for us after driving 5 hours. The room was clean, but the noise was so loud, just beside the train track. Even horns in the middle of night… but the location is great, 15 mins to queensboro subway station

Came in handy when I had to work a double shift. Good price, clean close to my job.

Booked the hotel stay as an emergency after I paid a different hotel stay and was turned away due to their overbooking. The gently at the front desk was very helpful in helping me book a last minute room on August 11th(on a Sunday night). Even the morning staff at the front desk was great. Overall....great customer service, very clean rooms, and very helpful staffs.

Stayed here due to a flight cancellation, hotel was 15 min drive to airport and affordable. Everything was great, clean and friendly staff also lots of affordable snacks are offered on the first floor. My only complaint is the area can look a little sketchy and unsafe (not sure if it actually is) but tons of nice food spots and even a target just about a 15 min walk.

Staff not very welcoming and room was ugly though clean. Little attention to some details like bathroom door has an agressive spring so you cant have it open, clothes hanging was above a shelf making clothes hang badly and corridor to room door felt like well, a factory. Also ground floor rooms need extra effort to not feel like a machine store room that got converted.

I went with my Fiancé and the bathroom had mold on the ceiling and tiles, we found blood spots on the back of the pillow covers and they ended up double charging me and it’s like pulling teeth to get a refund for my double charge, I would give them negative stars if I could. Bottom line it’s dirty and customer service is terrible. I’d stay away

Minor miscommunication aside, everything was great. Would absolutely stay again!

It was a great option for the price. Hotels are exp around there and its nice to be able to afford the opportunity of enjoying New York and have a private bathroom with a clean room. Thank you.

I stayed at this hotel with my family and overall had a good experience, giving it 4 stars. The check-in process took longer than expected despite an early request, but the cleanliness and amenities were satisfactory. The food options were limited, although there is a convenient snack shop at the reception. The hotel's prime location is a plus, and while there is paid parking at the front, free parking can be found nearby.

It is a bit far from transit (queens plaza and court square) and there is currently a migrant camp nearby but it was okay for the price. Breakfast was $15/person that you could purchase separately which was also okay. The staff are nice but there doesn't seem to be any communication among them. For example, our TV remote didn't work and while we raised it with reception in the lobby and they said it'd be taken care of, the remote never got fixed. We also requested a slightly later checkout a few times and staff said they'd note it but our room keys didn't work after the posted check-out time. I think it was a bit too expensive for the few amenities offered and the distance from transit but it works if you're only staying a few days.

This hotel is very basic. Very small and narrow rooms. The bed is comfortable enough. The AC is very powerful and probably the coldest AC I've ever experienced. The place has a cool industrial vibe to it, but probably not great for first timers to NYC or for families. It's a 12 - 14 minute walk to public transportation in a sketchy industrial part of town. But it is the most affordable hotel in the area, the staff is very friendly and accommodating, and they have a cool rooftop restaurant for breakfast. Perfect hotel if you are coming in for a short visit and don't mind taking Lyfts or Ubers

Hotel is GREAT for the price. I was impressed by the friendliness of the staff, and the amenities provided. The proximity to the train tracks makes it very hard to sleep - I highly recommend bringing earplugs and sleeping headphones. Even with those two layers I slept with a pillow over my head.

It was nice it had coffee and tea available for 24/7

The place itself is great. Perfect for a short term stay. The area around the hotel not so much

The hotel is the bare minimum which is nice when trying to save money but honestly not super worth it. It wasn't very clean and we found a bedbug our first night. It’s a bit of walk to the nearest train/bus and it felt unsafe to walk that far at night.

The hotel was good, could be cleaner. But the area is bad, the rooms on the first floor are shady as it faces the main road where there is alot of noise.

It was a very comfortable stay. Plenty of room. Wasn’t expecting this but our room had a small little couch with a table if you needed a place to do some work or if you’re in school you can catch up on school work. Bathroom was very spacious as well and the overall room was very clean when we got there. Would stay again and recommend others to it in the future.

Transportation to subway was a fairly nasty walk. There was mold in shower. Beds were way too firm. Coffee was good staff was nice. Rooms were not so great for price

Clean and nice hotel with good staff. the hotel is located right next to the railroad and it sometimes noisy sound passing trains. The room is clean but smells like a breaches. the location is a little far from stations or restaurants/shops. Overall it is nice hotel with reasonable price.

This place is spotless and smelled so good when you enter. The people are friendly and so are the receptionist. The only thing I would change is the pancakes and waffle they were not good. Everything else at the breakfast area was good and a plus for it being made fresh to your order. I will stay again here.

One of my best experience in New York. Everything is outstanding except its location (10 min walk to subway station).

Rooms were small but perfect for a one night stay. Easy convenient parking right out front, friendly staff and Quick commute

There was no microwave in our room so we ended up ordering more food. We eventually stumbled across the microwave by where the coffee and things were. Would'nt have ordered if we were told about a microwave. Staff was great with me, but I witnessed another staff member being slightly standoffish with another customer who had a complaint. Place was fine otherwise.
