Property is quiet run down and does not live up to the reviews or overall rating. Room disappointing, breakfast disappointing, cleanliness of hotel in general disappointing. Would not recommend at the price charged.

Staff is absolutely lovely and I can not say enough about how accommodating the ladies in the spa were for our family - they were so wonderful!. The morning buffet was also fantastic as were the views from the rooftop bar. Location is highly convenient to the Old Quarter. But..I struggle a bit with the 4-star designation. It’s evident that there’s has been some work put in to update the rooms, but the floors were dirty, the tub wiggled when You stood In It to shower, the tub faucet was dangling from the wall, you could not flush the toilet paper, and the noise from inside the hotel, itself, was horrific at night with doors slamming, people dropping things, babies screaming. I suspect a western 4-star has a different standard and I’m trying to take that into account after having travelled extensively and It wasn’t all bad, but a little disappointing.

Staff was great. Hotel was awesome. Area perfect for exploring old quarter. Highly recommend.

I had arranged to be picked up from the Airport, one of the reasons I booked this hotel was because of this service.They sent an excellent confirmation with precise details…I waited over 40 minutes for a taxi which did not show up. After phoning the hotel (incurring additional phone expenses) they did arrange a transfer and after more complaining did not charge me…but I had wasted time and spent money phoning them…good location. Bar VERY loud, so impossible to go there for a quiet drink.

This hotel is well located walking distance to most places and site really clean and the staff is super friendly. The breakfast is really good.

We loved our stay at the Bendecir Hotel. Staff is awesome, so friendly and helpful. The rooms are nice and complimentary breakfast is delicious. It's very close to everything but the hotel is quiet. Excellent location. I would definitely stay there again.

The level of helpfulness by the wonderful staff of this hotel is exceptional. Thoroughly recommend. A most pleasant stay.

From the pictures the hotel looks quite nice, but in reality it was very worn out. We ended up skipping breakfast on our 2nd day as water and fat was dripping from the ceiling. I would not recommend for anyone. Only positive thing was the friend and smiling staff at the reception.

All the staff at this hotel are incredibly helpful. The front desk staff is unbelievably helpful, especially Thom and Yin. They're the most helpful hotel staff I've ever met. Excellent location where you can walk to many locations in the Old Quarter including the night market (which is car free on weekends) and the hop-on-hop-off bus terminal. Lots to see, eat, and shop near the hotel.

Staff are friendly with a smile! Place is clean and nice, elevator quiet small and close fast if you don't go in. Over roof top is an amazing place for a view and breakfast was good. Lots of restaurants around the area as well?

The staff went above and beyond. My cousin had a problem with her visa and was stuck in Tokyo. The staff was able to get it fixed in a day. The breakfast is amazing and different everyday. My only complaint is the rooms facing the street can be a bit noisy if you a light sleeper.

Fantastic staff and great location in the Old Quarter!

The place need to be update and only ac in loby and rooms. But hall way and elevator doesn't have it. Place look run down. Should be only 2 start. Don't know how they rate so high.

We absolutely loved our stay at Bendecir. The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. The location was very convenient, so close to many restaurants, and shops. Ho Hoan Kiem was literally steps away. The breakfast was divine. The selections and quality were exceptional, even better than at many restaurants. Most of all, it was the service and the outstanding staff. The manager, Linh, was diligent, courteous, and extremely accommodating. All members of the staff, most especially Quyền and Hiếu, were very helpful, attentive, and respectful. They paid close attention to what we needed and fulfilled them quickly. We could not say enough good things about this lovely hotel and look forward to coming back

Staff was very kind and professional . Room was clean and comfortable. Rooftop bar was lovely with beautiful view of the city. The gentleman helping with the breakfast buffet were very friendly. Food was wonderful.

We love the Bendecir. The room was clean, comfortable, modern, and quiet. But above all, it was the staff that will bring us back time and again. They are warm, respectful, and very personable. They treat you like they know you personally, and as if you were their only and most important guests.

I had a really lovely stay at Bendecir Hotel & Spa. The staff were all extremely helpful and kind people, making my stay a comfortable one. They were all professional and the staff at the desk spoke excellent English, taking away the stress of any miscommunication. Quyen was one of the bell boys who really made my stay memorable - he was constantly available throughout most of the day to help out when needed. The room was comfortable and relatively well maintained. I enjoyed the breakfast buffet every morning, especially the fresh fruit they had. Overall, this location met my needs as it was easy to walk to the rest of the Old Quarter from here. There was a good variety of food and cafes nearby that the staff helped to recommend.

Really enjoyed our 2 night stay in this hotel. Room was spacious and bed comfortable although a bit sparse on furniture with little extras like hooks or rails for hanging wet towels lacking. It was clean enough on the surface but there was some dust and a random sock under the bed! Loved the rooftop pool and bar. Breakfast was good and staff were helpful and polite though not particularly friendly. Location very good, close to the main attractions such as the water puppet theatre, military museum and Train Street. Lots of restaurants, cafes and shops in the area. Would definitely return.

This is a small , the most 3 star hotel. No swimming pool and gym. With its price , not worth. The only good is near to HK lake, that’s all.

Super helpful and friendly staff

Overall this was a great basic hotel in a really convenient location. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, even with our very late arrival and early departure time. They helped coordinate our airport transfer and were extremely prompt and responsive in answering our questions. The breakfast buffet was a great perk. The rooms were in good condition, although it was (as expected) a bit humid inside. Overall this was a good option for our overnight stay.

The stuff are very friendly and helpful. Room are clean and comfortable. Only feedback is we have a family room for 4 and will be good to have 2 toilets instead of 1 will be ideal. The hotel location at Old Quarter is very convenient and is walking distance to popular lake and night market street. If you are aiming for true Vietnam experience is a great place to stay.
