It's a hostel with a twist. Bunk beds in walled-off cubicles. Common toilets and bathroom. Nice dining area and a good breakfast. It is conveniently located close to the town centre and railway station.

Shame there is no isolation of sound from the bar below - woken up at 7am on the dot when they started the music

Nice facility and great location. We had one of the pods. It was quiet, but there was ridiculously little space in the hall around the sleeping cubes and lockers.

I absolutely enjoyed staying here at the Bunk Hotel. It was conveniently located to Utrecht Centraal and had several options for dining close by. I had originally booked a pod for 4 nights and loved it so much that, when I had a change to my itinerary, I stayed an extra night. The bed in the pod was so comfy and I liked how the pod rooms were designed. I will absolutely book again to stay here when I return to the Netherlands one day. :) 10/10.

Excellent location for Le Guess Who? Friendly and helpful staff. The bathroom needs a scraper to get water off the floor and back into the shower area. Rooms are small.

No thrills place as far as rooms are concerned. Just a bed and bathroom. Optimal if you’re just needing a place to lay your head. Room clean, Staff were great and a great lively bar/restaurant downstairs.

I thoroughly enjoyed my time at BUNK Hotel Utrecht. It is right across from the train station and the historical area which I found to be very convenient. The area felt safe and it was very easy to check in. I rented a private room which I found to be very clean however please note - there is still some noise from the dining area downstairs.

I had a great experience. I had a room with a private bath so that helped. The room was modern and clean with very cool colored mood lighting. The self-serve check in and check out process was very smooth, no lines/waiting. There's a great energy in the main hall/bar/dining areas making it feel like your own kitchen/living room. But the best touch was the neighborhood cat (William I believe?) who would visit and lounge in the common areas. I loved this. Sitting next to him and giving him pets while drinking a beer made the place feel very homey.

Really amazing place! the only negative I can pick is that I would suggest is that they sort out the loudness of the doors when they close. Especially the main glass door linking the restaurant and the rooms. It gets opened so much and the banging can go on for 10 mins at a time. I was on the 2nd floor, and it's banging continuously every 10 seconds, it's not great at 2am in the morning.
Saying that I would definitely stay again, staff are amazing, the place is buzzing, vibrant, location is great. Rooms are small but perfect! everything you need

It’s an interesting building, but not a very comfortable place to stay. Too hot, no ventilation, and rooms too tiny to even open your luggage.
Staff is friendly but fully incompetent - they’re all kids with no clue what’s going on.
Also, the restaurant food tastes like a failed science experiment.

The lobby and cafe was really unique. Needed a towel rack, a shelf to put anything to put on, wc and shower unit was badly designed, best for one person. Staff was friendly.

Wonderful place to stay. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. Very walkable to Utrecht Centraal. Only thing si I would caution booking if you’re a light sleeper. The restaurant is very nice but can be noisy when trying to sleep.

We spent one night in a double bed pod. It was clean and sufficiently silent, above expectations. It's like a 4* hostel. Breakfast was very good. Would recommend for short stays.

A lot of unnecessary work. And you still may be taking stuff with you because it didn’t fit. Not an ideal way to explore the city.

Location was good, and we thought we would try it out. The room had 4 beds, but it was tight, and I would not recommend it for families, just not enough space. Our teenage daughter loved the atmosphere- the vibe is different than I would choose in a hotel. The room was clean, but found thinks like beer bottle caps beside the bed.

A pod is not what you want. There is no place for luggage and you do not have privacy

The bunks were kinda comfortable but the walls of the bunks were greasy and full of stains. I guess they don't clean them so often. Look at the picture.

Great new property. Cafe downstairs was beautiful from an old church. The bunk pods room was very large but because of the set up we did feel like we slept with a lot of people in the room. Only the bedroom got very hot after we closet the certain to sleep.

Terrible experience. We stayed in a room around 3 square meters. We didn't have even space for our luggage. No view at all, difficult to move, even smaller bathroom. Service was so terrible that they asked money to store our luggage for some hours before we leave from Utrecht to Rotterdam. Noisy enough because of the restaurant. Nothing good to say. Maybe that the location is not so far from the center

Great location near to train station and town centre. Pods very comfortable if a little small. Clean throughout and friendly service.

The concept is indeed unique, so one is more open to new experiences. The air in pods seems to be a problem as people had their curtains open while in bed. The idea of minimalism is actually a good one, with privacy and minimal space combined.

Hotel restaurant is very good! Especially Beef stroganoff is excellent, also beer is good.
