The area around the property had constant construction and the building had a very dirty odor.

Soda bed was broken. Asked for linen for the sofa bed … never received it. Asked ftowels and only got large ones. parking in a RAT INFESTED lot. Just to name a few things wrong. I opted to stay with Sonder and somehow the property was switched to Roami … AND I HATED IT! Roami will never be a choice in my future travel.

Location is very convenient to the French Quarter and Canal street. The apartment was lovely and comfortable, but the building itself is odd - it's an office building converted into apartments. The guards at the front desk did their best to be helpful, but reaching customer service when we were locked out of our front door on arrival was challenging. The "swimming pool" is tiny - more of a soaking pool - great view though. Good value, not sure I'd chose to stay here again.

The space was comfortable and was in a great location. There were a few things that needs improvement. Not sure the place was cleaned thoroughly due to us finding a huge chunk of cookie under the coffee table upon entering the room. Towels were provided but no hand towels nor wash cloths. The lobby frequently smelled of urine and sewage. The rooftop deck was very nice but the pool was lacking. The liner was way too big for the tiny pool. The pool was approximately 12’x6’ and 3’ deep. The picture of the pool is deceiving. Lastly our shower leaked terribly. Looked like it had been leaking for a while because the bottom hinge of the shower door appeared to have fallen out of the wall and now was attached with screws. The water would leak out of the shower all over the bathroom floor. We had to line our bathroom floor with layers of paper towels. Check out process was a little confusing. I received emails and text messages with links to click on in order to check out. Every time I clicked on the link it gave me a check in option only. There is a possibility that we would stay here again. I would want to verify first that improvements have been made. Honestly we know what to expect so would be ok with staying again but I am not sure I would recommend to friends.

Where to begin. Arrived at the property only knowing the hotel room and had to call and be on hold to get the code to the room. There are 2 big water stains on ceiling with sagging drywall. No extra toilet paper, tissue paper, dishwashing liquid, laundry detergent like they claimed would be there, and luckily filled shampoo and conditioner, but barely any body wash left. Dead bugs on cabinets. (Literally smooshed dead bug on kitchen cabinet.) Rug looked like it was never vacuumed. Now for the rooftop pool. That photo they have there must have been highly edited or something because it is a small, waist size pool, with the pool liner very poorly installed (literal folds of it on the bottom of the pool floor). Pool also had gross clear ish debris floating around in it. Honestly looked like what you’re thinking. The best thing about the whole hotel, were the security guards. They were very friendly and helpful. I will not be staying at a Roami again.

I wouldn’t stay here again

Business trip for a conference. The location of this apartment is very central, however, that brings its own problems in New Orleans, which is a dirty, noisy city with significant homeless, drug addicts and mental health problems. As a result, people were screaming in the street at all hours, begging and soliciting sex, etc. The windows were not well insulated so sleep was difficult. Apartment was huge and clean, very nice actually. I would not recommend single females stay here.

Nothing really impressed me about the room and it had a lot of problems. Broken toilet seat, broken toilet paper holder, peeling ceiling in the bathroom, broken glass shower door was replaced with cheap curtain rod but the door hardware was left in place with broken tiles around... Duvet cover was terrible, balls of filling with nothing in between. Rooftop pool is a joke. Instead of pool tiles it has some kind of vinyl lining which is deteriorated, all wrinkled and it looks awful. I don't think I will stay at Sonder again...

More VRBO than hotel. No services and by that I mean absolutely no services

The room was very nice and large. Nice to have a full kitchen, large walk-in closet, two bathrooms, and even a washer dryer. Pro tip Have patience after entering the door code. It will unlock if you enter the correct code but takes about 10 seconds to actually unlock.

The door to the building was “broken” so never locked. The lobby was very smelly as was the whole building. The pool looked very unsafe and was dirty and totally different from all pictures. The windows were very dirty so could barely see out of them. Bed was rock hard and windows paper thin so you could hear everything. Location was good, close to everything but would not stay again.

The one bed apartment was very spacious with a nice decor and colour scheme. The location is excellent with the French Quarter within walking distance. The only point is luggage storage in the building would be handy and it is noisy outside at night which is not the fault of the property however families may find this objectionable and prefer a quieter location.

Very convenient. 2 blocks from bourbon,3 24hr stores a block away and streetcars that take you wherever you want to go. Plus the room makes you not want to leave your bed 10/10

Property needs some love, but other than that it was an amazing stay! Staff was great and the room was perfect. Loved our stay and would definitely come back!

Great location near Canal Street. Easy entry and security at front desk 24 hours. Room clean and quite with full kitchen and utensils

The building is dated and worn. The single bedroom unit is spacious and comfortable. A bit dated as well, but in overall good condition. Communication is difficult. There is no onsite support so you have to use an app chat feature. There were no bath towels in my room and it took 18 hours and two “chats” to get delivered. Overall, quality is commensurate with price.

The location is good, only a five minute walk to Canal Street, and ten minute walk to Bourbon Street. So it was central and that was great. But it is somewhat isolated, and thus feels a bit unsafe. While the units are fine themselves, the building is run down, with the smell of urine and weed rampant in the lobby and on the street outside. The pool on the roof is misrepresented in the photos, again run down and not really usable. We booked this apartment to be able to have some meals in and save on costs but could not find a grocery store to buy food anywhere nearby. The best thing about this place was the easy access to staff on the Sonder app and their very helpful customer service in handling any of our issues.

They gave our reservation away, never notified us. We sat in the lobby for 2hrs trying to get a hold of someone. It was embarrassing

I will start by saying I was in this property longer than most folks would be in a given day. I was working remotely from the unit while my partner was attending a conference in the city. This allowed for me to have more time to notice the quality of the room and property. My overall impression was that the property was staged to look nice on social media but repairs and underlying issues were not regularly maintained or repaired. The lobby, elevator and the 8th floor either smelled of strong cleaning solution or what I can best describe as a stale fishy smell. Luckily this wasn’t noticeable in the room but would creep in near the door to the hallway. The technology and mobile app are a nice distraction but not really worked out. We were provided a text with an updated room code on our day of check in saying “IMPORTANT: Your access code has been updated. Please use #### to access your Sonder.” But this code didn’t work anywhere we needed to enter a code. Front door of the building didn’t lock but had a sign saying it was locked and a code was needed, but in reality all you needed to do was push the door open. Guard was friendly and would manually check folks in and out of the hotel. Support was responsive in chat, we had a leak from the bathroom above us which stained the ceiling of our shower. Shower head was cheap and the surrounding shower looked to be ravaged from water damage. No sound proofing. very comfy bed. A lot of space. Good WiFi.

Lobby and elevator had an unpleasant scent, but the room was fine. The unit was very spacious and very clean!

I stayed here with family. The room was conveniently located near Canal St. and about a 20 minute walk from the French Quarter. Rooms were quiet, I did not hear any other hotel guests through the walls which was nice. Requested extra towels and an extra blanket through in app chat and received them shortly thereafter. I would definitely stay here again.

The room smelled like an ashtray, to which we notified them asap, but they never offered a different accommodation or discount (n fact, they never responded in any way). A few discontents: we had to pay for parking (which we didn't know about until we got there) to the tune of $30/day; not enough towels for two of us, and no way to get more; hallways smelled like rotten fish the entire stay; dining table was wobbly. We didn't even know there was a rooftop pool and lounge until the last day...communication and service needs work...but nice layout and property overall was well maintained.

The property was nice and well suited for our needs. We had two big problems though: 1) The entire building smelled like garbage, the room not nearly as bad as the common areas but from the lobby through all the hallways, it was oppressive; 2) the rooftop pool was in poor repair and when we tried to swim had mulch from the landscaping in it with no skimmer net available for us to clear it. I had stayed at a Sonder in New Orleans before that was perfect. I would not recommend this location based on the garbage smell alone.

The building, apartment and particularly the rooftop deck and pool are run down and are not accurately depicted in the photos. Don't have high expectations.

It was all perfect for what I need. Self check in and easy to check out.
