Great apartment! Very spacious and comfortable, excellent location. We loved that it was right by the water and also inside the city walls. Easily walkable to anywhere you would want to go. Will definitely stay here again if we are ever back in York

We enjoyed this large, well-equipped space which was close to all the sights but still quiet and calm. It had a great view of the river from the bedroom and was very close to some good restaurants.

The property was close to the town with easy access to shops, and bars. The area was quite quiet of night considering its location to the town. Had a relaxing stay.

We were so impressed with the townhouse. Parked the car right outside and didn’t move it until we left 3 days later. Perfect location - all of York’s attractions a few minutes walk away, lovely restaurants, pubs, shops the same. We enjoyed walks and runs along the river in the mornings. The house was spacious and ideal for our family with lovely views. The kitchen was extremely well equipped. Communication was great - most definitely recommend .

A lovely place to stay, all within walking distance to major sights, even for elderly parents. Patrick was so helpful even allowing us to keep our bags there on our final day ( Apologies for the delay again Patrick) Highly recommended to anyone visiting York.

The location was great in terms of walking everywhere. It was lovely to be right on the river. The main bedroom was very comfortable, but the sofa bed in the lounge was not. Neighbours in the upstairs flat were noisy until late the first 2 nights, but after that it was peaceful. Overall we would recommend for a short stay for a family of 4.

Fabulous aoartment. Walking distance from everything I wanted to see. Quiet well equipped. Everything was oetfect. There was even a Christmas tree in the apartment.

We have had a wonderful stay at the apartment. We really found the place to have all that we needed, super comfortable and cosy. Location was amazing we did so much whilst we stayed In York. We hope to return.

The apartment is very central and the perfect base for exploring York. Being able to park the car, and in a garage was brilliant. The apartment had everything we needed for a long weekend. Pre-check in communication was excellent. We'll definitely be staying again the next time we're in York!

Our group of freinds Stayed at the town house and apartment for a long weekend. To start with the hosts communication made things so easy from start to finish. These property’s are full of character and in a prime place in York beautiful views of the river and close to the city a short walk to the cathedral. Parking is onsite and we cannot recommend this property enough. Will certainly return 👍

We loved our stay at the Riverside York apartment. The location is wonderful, and we could walk to so many great attractions in York. We'd love to stay again. Our host made everything easy for us. It was a great experience.

Beautiful house, spacious and in an excellent location. Spotlessly clean, well decorated and furnished. Would definitely stay there again, and recommend it to groups of friends and for larger families.

We spent 3 days in York and stayed at the Riverside. The home was lovely and had everything needed for a perfect 'home away from home.' Patrick Lavers, the owner, was prompt to respond to every question we had. If we ever have the opportunity to visit York again, The Riverside York, is where we would choose to stay. It is convenient walking distance to nearly everything you would want to visit while there. If you decide to stay here, you will not be disappointed!

We have just returned from a fantastic stay at the Riverside York. The apartment is superbly located a short walk from the attractions, almost literally a stones throw from York castle museum and Clifford's Castle. The apartment was cosy and welcoming with everything catered for after a long drive (tea, coffee, sugar) Patrick was very helpful and responsive when we had questions and always replied in good time. York is a wonderful city for families and couples with great restaurants, bars and museums aimed at all ages, and its so much nicer when you can relax at the end of a busy day! Thanks again!

We had a wonderful stay in York, the property is minutes from the centre which was great. The property was really comfortable and we were able to make our own food, the kitchen was really well equipped with everything we needed. The bed was super comfy.
