Perfect atmosphere to relax after a long sleepless overseas flight. Staff was very welcoming, decor was lovely, beds were comfortable. Breakfast buffet was excellent. We highly recommend this hotel.

I stayed in a room with a sauna. It was a great experience! I would definitely stay here again!

Positives: I love how clean this hotel is even years after commencing operations. For instance, there are no signs of wear and tear in the shower - shower caulk has no mould, tile grout is perfectly clean. Many hotels, even 5 star hotels, struggle to maintain this. Everything is exceptionally cleaned and well maintained. I was updated to a sauna room which was really lovely. The sauna rooms are unique and I highly recommend them. I love the music, the dark and moody feel throughout the hotel and the breakfast is superb - a 5 star experience. Lastly, the location is fantastic. I prefer Bulevadi, close to the design district, then in the heart of Kluuvi. So this is my preferred location. Negatives: This is my third stay at Lapland Bulevadi over the years. Twice I haven't been Able to eat at the restaurant at night as they have been too busy and were not staffed to handle the load. However the bar tender did give me a drink on the house as a result. This isn't too bad as there are plenty of restaurants in the area but just an observation. In my most recent stay there was a loud noise that the air con would make occasionally which would sometimes wake me up when falling asleep, it would then stop again. And I couldn't work out how to turn the aircon off? I don't like sleeping with it on and there isn't a simply off Botton like other hotels. I am sure it is simply and will just ask reception next time.

This hotel had pretty much everything I could have wanted for my stay in Helsinki. It is located in a beautiful old part of the city within reasonable walking distance of everything I wanted to see in my short stay there. Due to a failure of the in-room safe to function, Jaane, the wonderful young man at the front desk, upgraded me to a gorgeous large room with its own sauna. Needless to say I was quite comfortable and appreciative. My first night I dined at the hotel restaurant where the food was exceptional. I am not used to hotel restaurants serving this high a level of dining experience. If you stay there, or even if you don't, you might want to have a dinner there. Breakfasts were included in the room price and they are quite substantial and very tasty as well. Generally I made such a pig of myself at breakfast it wasn't necessary to eat again until dinner. Front desk staff were universally warm and accommodating. If I needed a taxi, they arranged it promptly. When I called from the airport on arriving and wanted information on how to get to the hotel, they were very specific about what taxi to take and what it should cost. I cannot say enough good things about this hotel. When I am in Helsinki again, and I will be, I will definitely stay at the Lapland Bulevardi again.

One of best hotels were we had been, the root top room is amazing with sauna and bathtub. Breakfast is different than usual there is lots of from Lappland . Staff is comfortable they have time to speak with us.

I stayed here when attending some ballet and music performances in Helsinki. I have stayed here previously. Comfortable rooms and was upgraded. Some rooms have saunas.

Had a very nice stay at this hotel. The staff was very nice and professional. The room was clean and tidy, the other facilities as well. Absolutely loved the theme! I'll be visiting this hotel again some time.

Great service at front desk.

One of the best hotels ever. Their breakfast was out of the world and hotel staff was simply outstanding. My flight out reqd me to checkout at 5 am and the front desk had green smoothie and other “to go” items ready as I would not be able to have formal breakfast that starts at 7 am! That level of service is so rare these days.

We stayed at this hotel a few days back. It’s wonderful! Clean, spacious, friendly staff and the most magnificent breakfast (which we could t enjoy this time around because of our early flight). Next time we visit Finland, we won’t look any further; this is the hotel we want. It’s also greatly located. If you can afford the upgrade to a room with a sauna I highly recommend it!

This is one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. It has a very relaxed, laid back, warm atmosphere. The whole hotel is spotless. The staff are friendly, efficient and professional. The Arctic Deluxe Spa Room was just great. The sauna and the whole bathroom is excellent. The area is very convenient for sights, shops, ferries and walking. The restaurant Kulta in the hotel was very warm, spacious and of course the food was delicious. Generally what you feel is that the whole design concept of everything has been thought through and nothing is out of place … go and stay there!

The hotel is beautifully decorated. The staff is very friendly. The rooms are super comfortable (we got the one with the Suzan- super!). Breakfast included was delicious and beautifully laid out. Great experience

We were unexpectedly upgraded to a huge room with a spa (including sauna) which was amazing. The breakfast was magnificent - healthy selection and we loved the Lapand honey! The staff were excellent - very helpful when we had a medical problem. We would heartily recommend this hotel, and hope to return.

The only complaint I could raise about this very great hotel is that no threadmill can be found in the gym in the basement.
