Great option for downtown location

The staff at Victoria City were so accomodating!!! They allowed us to check in early and carried our bags upstairs. The room was cute and clean. The balcony on the second floor had a beautiful breeze. It is off the beaten path with not much around it, and we didn't love the attached restaurant, but the people couldn't have been nicer to us!!

The location of the hotel is good, the place is clean and comfortable, we loved it, it has free cafeteria space, open spaces to share, I recommend it.

Having been a loyal guest at this hotel for several years. The hotel's prime location has always made my stays convenient and enjoyable. The level of service provided consistently deserves a solid 5-star rating, showcasing a commitment to excellence. I must highlight the exceptional dining experience at the hotel's restaurant - the food quality and service are truly outstanding. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a good experience.

The 4 positives were; quick efficient check in/out, a fairly clean room, very comfortable bed and high quality bathroom amenities. Otherwise, the hotel in generally was in a desperate need of an overhaul. There were notices that renovations were going on although there was no actual evidence of it. Very basic and bare bones room with only one table lamp in the room and no telephone, no table, no tea/coffee maker, nothing to sit on other than on the bed itself and no hooks in either the room or the bathroom. The bathroom was smaller than most cruise ship bathrooms and had the only mirror as there was none in the room. The smallish TV was on a wall to the side so had to turn onto side to watch when in bed. Lastly the room window was above head height so could be looked out of, strange. The coffee cups provided on the 2nd floor lobby were barely bigger than the average shot glass and no milk or cream was provided other than generic dry creamer. Overall a hotel that needs to be brought up to modern standards.

The hotel was walking distance to the downtown area and restaurants. The hotel is clean and modern. The rooms are small but updated. My family and I enjoyed our time at the hotel.

My first time to Aruba was great! the country is so clean and I feel so safe at all times .The night life in the city was great live music, vendor on the street and shopping until around 12am, Bar and restaurant was open as well. The beach was amazing and the people were kind and friendly. Victoria City Hotel was a small hotel, clean and y room was cozy. You have access to tea or coffee all day long. The staff friendly and helpful. I would go back again for a longer time

Very friendly and helpful staff. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. The room was similar to European hotel rooms, very compact. Hallways and common areas were well maintained. Parking was adequate, although it was behind the hotel and required walking through a pass-through to the front of the building to enter the hotel. There was no elevator so luggage had to be carried up a narrow staircase. Staff quickly offered to assist with the luggage. There is a nice little coffee bar on the second floor and a restaurant in the lobby area. The hotel is undergoing renovations. My understanding is that it will address the elevator.

Clean, quiet and safe

At 2:00 a.m., my sleep was interrupted by the loud noise of garbage truck in the street in the back of the hotel. It's recommended to isolate room no.112 and other rooms close to the road from noise hindrance.

Very bad hotel no hot water

The hotel was perfect for a long weekend trip! Coffee station open 24/7, water bubbler access 24/7. Beautiful terrace. Rooms were basic but quaint and clean and has everything you could need, including a fridge. The hospitality was super and the restaurant downstairs is a wonderful option for a quick breakfast or afternoon drink! Easy walk to the square where the cruise ships dock. Quick and easy walk to Surfside Beach SO worth the bargain! Highly recommend.

cute lobby and nice coffee bar upstairs but unimpressive rooms, weird smells in room, shower barely drained, squealing sound from mini fridge when plugged in, unexplained pool of liquid on floor outside of bathroom

Very clean and the staff were really nice.

I loved my experience the staff was nice. There are a few improvements the rooms are not sound proof so you can hear everything, the hot water was not working but I did not mind too much as it’s really hot in Aruba. I would stay here again. I also liked the decode in the lobby and the balcony upstairs!

It was an interesting area We were only there one night but found live music in a square nearby and a great little Argentinian restaurant near by.

The hotel is in the middle of the town. It is clean. The staff is nice and helpful. The upstairs outdoor lounge is amazing and comfy.
