Very nice staff. The girl at the reception is one of the best hotel workers we have ever met. Unfortunately we don't know her name, but she has blond hair and was working on the morning of September 12th.

This hotel is amazing! I felt safe and happy here. The staff were friendly, rooms are small but nice. Beds cost, big tv and had Netflix. It was really convenient location to subways, time square etc. I will come to this hotel. Breakfast is amazing!

This hotel had a real buzz to it. They’ve got a kiosk for snacks and souvenirs, often have live music in the lobby area, and also have plenty of seating and a station to charge your phone. The staff were lovely and the room was perfect for me as a solo traveller. The downsides of the room were that firstly, it faces a courtyard of other rooms so there was little to no natural light, and it was very easy to see into other people’s rooms which made me not want to open the blind at all. Secondly, my room was opposite an electrical room which meant there was a constant loud hum. The walls are pretty thin and though the hotel has quiet hours on the guest floors (between 10pm and 7am I think?) no one seems to respect that, so I would often be woken by loud conversations in the corridor or a baby crying in the room opposite. I personally found breakfast to be a chaotic experience regardless of what time I went - there aren’t enough seats for the amount of guests and the selection of hot food is very limited. Eventually I decided it wasn’t worth the hassle and got breakfast elsewhere. The location is perfect, I walked pretty much everywhere with ease and was also close to the subway (Penn Station) so very easy to get around. All in all a good hotel; the minor inconveniences didn’t heavily impact my stay. If you want somewhere quiet then this isn’t the place for you, but as a solo traveller it can be advantageous to be somewhere busy like this place.

Easily the best stay I’ve had while visiting New York! I will be booking again next time I come to town!
