I booked a room with kitchenette, that i picked for this reason only. When I got there, people at the desk explain me That they don’t have such rooms ( but it’s was written kitchenette + a pic of a kitchen on the room I booked). They give me A standard room instead. I try to insist saying it’s not possible like this and that I need this kitchenette. They answered me that the problem was coming from the hotel.com website because they don’t have such bedrooms… So very deceived because the kitchenette was the most important criteria of my booking… then I moved somewhere else, but my booking was already paid. So very disappointed and deceived. Hope you can get me something for this very bad experience.

Hotel was amazing. Love the 2nd floor coffee shop and cozy seating. but the $30 to park your own car in the park deck was ridiculous, you are are already paying alot for this hotel which its worth that but not the park fee and then taxing the parking fee

It was really nice! The staff was so friendly except for one woman in the restaurant. She was never smiling and often snarky and just unfriendly. We came to the restaurant late at night after we drove in (around 930) with no one at the tables, ordered food and a round of drinks. But she was just not very nice to us. The next morning was the same. We went to get coffee and asked if we could come sit with our coffee and see the water and again very passive aggressive like we didn't belong there. She was an older blondish woman probably 50s or 60s but she did not make us feel welcome. We arent loud or rude. Not used to being treated that way.

Way too expensive for view of apartments and parking lot. Selected balcony view which would indicate a view of the water. They put us in a room with a balcony over a parking lot with a view of condos across the parking lot.

Our family stayed 3 days at the hotel, everything was good. the room was clean and nice. Restaurant room delivery was very convenient and quick. Very enjoy the time when we were there

Unfortunately, our family would not choose to stay here again. I booked a room that was supposed to have bunkbeds. Our room did not have bunkbeds. I also booked a room that was supposed to have an ocean view. Our room had a very obstructed view. The itself was dirty. I took photos of stains on the couch. There were also stains on the curtains and the adjoining room door was sticky and dirty. This was a disappointment as usually Marriott or high-quality and for the price I would’ve expected more. Additionally, the restaurant had both fruit flies and house flies. Not a great experience.

Our check in went great we arrived early and to my surprise our room was ready. The first thing I noticed was the floors in the elevator were dirty, but not a big deal. The room was ok not what I was expecting from the pictures but not terrible. I did not like the bathroom floors , and the lighting in the room was horrible I had to grab a staff person to ask if the light got brighter. We had a great view of the beach and the pool. I had one small incident where I needed assistance from staff I had to ask 3 different times until the problem was taken care of which was extremely annoying, but it finally was resolved. Parking is super tight and it would’ve been nice not to dodge the leaks from the ceiling.

Pet friendly hotel. Which is terrible cleaning up after the pets. Upon entering our room poop was under the desk from the previous guest. Poop stain on carpet. Makes you wonder how clean the actual facility is. Management never came out to speak with us. Only offered a different room without a view. Mind you we booked oceanfront

This property is beautifully appointed, well-maintained, and clean. The staff were professional, helpful, and courteous. There is construction or something going on in the front right now that makes it difficult to get into the hotel and garage, but it's still doable. My only complaint is that the only option for coffee is to buy it at the Starbucks on site, or have the stuff in the room that only offers powdered creamer, which I detest. But, again, that's a minor thing. Overall, this is a very nice stay experience and I would definitely stay there again.

This is my second time staying here and I've recommended it to more of my family members for the beach accesss convenience, the heated pool, the upscale atmosphere of this hotel without the huge pricetag. All staff members were polite and accomodating.

Great waterfront hotel, quieter than other hotels on the boardwalk. We enjoyed having a separate living room/den. Great view. Well equipped gym. Family friendly, staff were very pleasant and helpful. Our family of 4 had a wonderful relaxing week. The hotel could benefit from including activities i.e yoga sessions, game room for kids/teens, volleyball net on the beach but otherwise it was perfect !

Nice clean hotel with easy access to the beach and pool is clean. The staff is nice just very quiet they don’t really socialize or say hi unless you say it first . No big deal to me I guess that’s why their review is low under staff friendliness .

Overall it was a very nice hotel. Starbucks on site plus the restaurant were great. It is not directly on the Virginia Beach so on the bay side which means calmer waters where we saw dolphins swimming. The pool was small but worked. The parking fee every night was a bit expensive in my opinion. It took hours to get our son's crib to the room but overall a good stay.
