All good, clean snd friendly staff

The mattresses and pillows were very cheap feeling. I felt the same last time i stayed but was thinking maybe it was a fluke. But, again was disappointed in the mattress feeling worn out and the pillows as well

There was an issue with my room being cleaned. I was there 6 nights 5 days, my room was cleaned once. Finally had to ask for clean towels. They said they would give me Marriott points, I haven’t seen any yet. I was very disappointed because I know this is not normal for Marriott.

The staff were great. The property itself was nice. The bed was disappointing. It was not comfortable and we did not have a great night’s sleep.-

Overall, property was very nice. Clean and comfortable. Especially liked the breakfast area and food choices. Only suggestion would be that the front desk be more responsive to requests for more pool towels. When we went to the pool area, there were no towels left. My daughter went to the front desk to ask for more for the additional guests that were coming into the pool area as we left. She gave my daughter 2 towels, one for each of us. I went to the front desk and told her the situation, but she made no immediate move to get more back to the pool area. Also, the floor in the pool area was wet, but extremely slippery. The property needs to somehow "roughen up" the floor or there will be accidental falls and injuries. I ALMOST fell myself, and I am agile. Someone else less slow is going to fall, and problems will arise for the property.

Our handicap room we reserved was not available which will make it harder for my handicap mother to shower so that was unfortunate. Not sure how that works when we reserved weeks ago.

Attending a wedding in Aberdeen for the weekend could count on one hand the people I knew so it was awesome going back to a friendly nice clean hotel. Had three rooms with a guest arriving each day and the staff worked so we could check in early. Very comfortable place and stumbling distance from DEC

Check in was not very friendly. An employee’s child of about six was yelling very loud the entire time. Upon entering the room we discovered only one chair, no toilet tissue anywhere, no amenities in bathroom except a bar of soap. The next morning we asked that the room be made up by noon as we were going to spent the afternoon in the room. The room was not made up at 12:45 when we returned. It took four more attempts to get the room taken care of by 4:00 p.m. I talked with front desk, the cleaning women did not speak English, and with a man who I assumed was in charge of housekeeping. He assured me it would be taken care of, BUT IT WAS NOT. It was a very unpleasant experience, as we were in Aberdeen for a funeral of a dear friend and we did not need any extra stress. We will NEVER stay in a Fairfield Inn again. I am asking for a refund of our money.

It’s ok, but not worth the upgrade price. Breakfast starts too late to be of any good. Had to go out and purchase elsewhere on top of the cost of the hotel.

The stay at the Fairfield was amazing. Room was very nice. I needed a crib and one was provided like I requested in the room without going to ask in person. The staff was kind and helpful! The breakfast was a better selection than expected. I had quite a few guest visiting our family in the room and pool and the room was large enough that we didn’t feel cramped up. I would stay at this place again.
