I celebrated my birthday on Friday and the staff was kind enough to send me a cake and a nice birthday card. Everyone was very accommodating and I will be returning again for a staycation

Not my first visit - this time I was a bit disappointed mostly because they started to not clean the room daily and there are 0 vegetables at breakfast.

Excellent, comfortable hotel ideal for access to JFK airport. We usually go end of December for son's return to Hong Kong, and the trip to JFK from DC during Xmas season is a nightmare of traffic - but going in October was a delight. Staff at the hotel very helpful and friendly and the room (and bed) top notch. Even the "Chain Hotel" breakfast was excellent. Well done indeed!
This is now our default hotel for future stays.

Great for an airport stop-over and the room etc were perfectly adequate. Neighbourhood was strewn with rubbish though although this did not concern us too much.

I needed a room for the night before my flight out the next day check-in process was easy and I was handed a room key with no hassle.

1) Check in could have been a lot better; i)Signs @Federal Circle,by Howard Beach subway Stn,need to be clearer; I had to ask car rental oeoole where the free hotel shuttle left.ii) Then,' Michelle' from Marriott Freeohone said she could not arrange a callbback from JFK Marriot Resudence hotel ane ' coud not help me'.Why not?!2/.No shuttle bus,when all other hotel- buses arrived at 9pm on.21st Octv24..Luckily,another hotel- driver dropped me off @hotel,where I saw 2 shuttle buses outside it....2/ More positively,I mentioned the above to 'Kevin',a Duty Manager,who apologised for ' Michelle' s' action( or inaction!) and made me feel better about staying at a Marriott hotel in future. Thanks,Kieran Floyd

The hotel itself was fine however the streets surrounding it were full of trash and debris! I’ve never seen anything that bad. They advertised a lounge that was open extended hours every day but you actually had to go across the parking lot to the Marriott hotel for the lounge, the bellman loaded our bags on a luggage cart then proceeded to talk on his phone for quite some time. We ended up getting our bags and taking them to our room ourselves. When we came down to go to dinner 20 minutes later he was still talking on his phone.

Really nice clean quiet hotel. Convenient location to the airport. Nice to have the free shuttle. It’s a neighborhood area so no nice restaurants to walk to. The staff is super nice. Only inconvenience is how crazy expensive is to stay in NY.

Staff were super friendly, shuttle was delayed picking us up from the airport. Room was smaller than expected but acceptable, the view was awesome. Wish they didn't put pepper on the eggs (my daughter hates pepper) so she wasn't able to have any eggs. Also crispier baccon would be nice. Most of the time it was flappy and chewy like the Oscar Mayer precooked baccon. Looking down and the entry wat to the hotel I think they could cean up around there dumpsters better or maybe get another dumpster to keep from the overflow and trash bags on the ground.

Great airport hotel, however if you do not have a phone there is no way to call the shuttle. We got lucky and one was coming to pock someone else up.

Everything was great, except having to wait so long for the shuttle. Then when it arrived everyone boarded and that was fine, but then it stalled on the way to the airport. I think the shuttles should be checked and serviced regularly for wear and tear. Other than that, everything else was fine.

Only downfall was we were told of free breakfast at 6 am by hotel staff and arriving at 630 still nothing but coffee available. Still waiting! Other than that would stay here again—one of cleanest hotels I’ve ever stayed in and a very very friendly reception staff upon arrival.

I stayed at one of these hotels in Jersey and then noticed they had one in ny close to jfk and I had to try it and wow. Never disappoints. So far this is my fav hotel. So clean, food is good, service as well. Ugh can’t wait to go back
