The hacienda is very beautiful and the rooms were spacious and comfortable. The garden is well maintained and you can relax by the pool in the afternoon before going to the centre in the evening. The property provides pool towels. The host was super responsive and helpful throughout our stay. It was a fantastic experience and will definitely return if I plan another trip to Merida.

We didn't really mind this but the property is a 20 minute walk to centre. Nevertheless, a shade umbrella is provided to make this more bearable.

Perfect atmosphere, cozy “colonial style” stay, very friendly and super supportive staff. The owner is very “hands on”, ready to help, solve any issues and recommend the best restaurants, places to go

Beautiful historic villa with many seating areas by the pool and under covered lanais. Pool and pool table were great amenities for visiting with friends. Access to the kitchen and grocery store a block away was an added bonus.

The property was a bit far from the city centre, but we knew it when we booked. It would be nice if the hotel had a bar/restaurant, but there are plenty of options in the city centre.

Colonial style house rather than a hotel...access to communal kitchen. Nice pool area. Great rooms.

Bit noisy as on a main road on the edge of town. No parking other than on street. Need a car to get in out of town. No restaurant facility or breakfasts.

We don’t have enough words to express how great this place is. It is worth to travel to Mexico just to stay in Villa Merida hotel for a truly Mexican experience. The place is a beautiful traditional hacienda, arranged in great style, with all needed amenities. The location is also great (some 20 mins walk from the main center) and in a safe neighbourhood. Host Batiste is very helpful and will do his best to make you feel most welcome. Thanks a lot to Batiste for a fantastic stay and we are looking forward to visit Merida again!

Beautiful picturesque hotel and property. Large clean rooms. We overlooked the lovely pool and garden.

Only complaint, which is not directly about the hotel itself, was the continuous barking of dogs throughout the night it made for a very restless sleep.

It was really quiet and really clean. The garden is amazing. There is all you need.

as can be seen from the pictures this is an old historic Villa. the building and interior are fantastic, old tiles, period fittings, completed by modern amenities such as the bed and shower. owner Baptiste was really helpful, and helped us rent a car for a couple of days at a good rate which was delivered to the property

because it’s so old inevitably that comes with a few minor issues like our door often sticking when opening & closing….literally had to barge it open at times.
