Excellent stay - we were able to let ourselves in. Great communication with the owner. Hot tub was ready to use upon arrival. The whole place was immaculate & in a great area too. Would definitely stay again for maybe a bit longer

As soon as we arrived at the property I felt like I was in heaven. The flat was unbelievably clean, comfortable and homely with everything you need including things you wouldn't expect even from a five star hotel,like a full bottle of milk, tea, coffee and even nibbles. The flat was so very clean and the decor was stunning with a fantastic four poster bed, tables that charged your phone and a really quirky sofa! The host wasn't well when we arrived but still made sure we had everything we needed and was available for anything. By the morning after the first night we were making arrangements to go again but this time for longer. Would give this accommodation more than 10 stars if I could!

The flat was spotless, and had everything we needed. Colette has=d provided tea and coffee and milk, and some crisps and biscuits. We felt very at home. Within walking distance of restaurants and food shops, and although Colette gave us a lift into the centre of York, it would have been easy to get in, along the bus route or taxis. Perfect little getaway or stop off gap for couples or solo travellers, wanting to explore the area. The hot tub was great, after a long days walk around York. Will definitely be back.

Conveniently sited for our plans; clean, quiet and comfortable. Just what we needed.

Shame the hot tub kept shutting down after only 5 mins use, but that was only a "nice-to-have" anyway.

Colette was a great host, friendly welcome, responsive throughout and provided great recommendations. Also, super kindly offered lift into York! Then allowed us our privacy of the entire downstairs to ourselves. Bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and garden all lovely. Hot tub positioned so nicely, you don't feel overlooked.

Road noise can be noticeable (but not so much that it ever impacted our sleep) and we opted to eat in one night but there wasn't the best set up to sit at a table together.

During my recent stay in York, I had the privilege of experiencing one of the most serene and delightful accommodations I've ever encountered. My room exuded a warmth, was clean and cosiness that made me feel instantly at home. Beyond the amenities, what stood out was the genuine hospitality of Collete, who was always friendly, attentive, and ensured our stay was seamless. Despite the peaceful and quiet location, accessing the town was a breeze, making it an ideal spot for both relaxation and exploration. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a memorable stay in York.
